If they do RDR3 I still want it to be another prequel to go "full Cowboy" See how much of the stuff Landon Ricketts did was BS or not. A young Nigel West Dickens selling his BS potions Well they really can't go forward in time - the American frontier was officially over by the time Jack put a bullet in Ross' head. Going further back is the only way to continue, and there's a lot of untapped potential in the mid-to-late 1850s. Hell, you could probably make a pretty solid story featuring just Ricketts and the gunslingers from the Jim "Boy" Calloway mission, with little to no link to the Van der Linde Gang (though I think if we ever do see a RDR3, a young Hosea or Dutch will feature in some way). Yea, without question there would be a young Dutch and Hosea probably running a scam in some town you end up visiting As much as they have gone for the Old West feeling, they really haven't hit it yet since another prequel would be that sweetspot. The problem would be how you connect it to the story but they made a whole game out of Dutch ramblings in RDR1 so I got faith

I'd love a sequel set during 20s prohibition. Leave the western setting and go full Rockstar does Boardwalk Empire.

I'm streaming the game for a friend who doesn't follow games so they don't know any of the twists, they just know 2 comes before 1 chronologically, we just hit chapter 6 and they were like {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}"But Arthur can't die if there's another game after this right?" and I'm just like trying to not say anything like

Or Irish, French, and Welsh. If they do RDR3 I still want it to be another prequel to go "full Cowboy" See how much of the stuff Landon Ricketts did was BS or not. A young Nigel West Dickens selling his BS potions Was it you that had the idea for the next game to be about Jack and Sadie? That's probably my favorite sequel idea.

I got the deluxe edition when it went on sale a couple weeks ago. I’ve played probably 20 hours in the last 2 days. I’m up to chapter 3, when I got to the LENNY!?!?! Bar scene I remembered the hangman looking for Kenny angle and it all made sense

Yea, earlier in the thread I pitched the Jack and Sadie idea which would still fit and carry on the circle of revenge I had an idea for single player DLC that I think I mentioned before that would bridge the gap between John’s death and when Jack went out to get revenge. In it you played as Sadie returning to the Marston Ranch to help out a sick Abigail and Jack. And seeing that Jack wants to avenge his father, she reluctantly trains him to shoot and takes him out on her bounty hunting missions under the condition he does not seek his revenge while Abigail is alive. The DLC would end with Abigail’s death which will prompt Sadie to leave (or die in the final mission), Jack goes to bury his mother next to his father, and that’s where the finale of RDR1 picks up.

Jumped back into playing some online with the release of the Outlaw Pack 3. Love me some cosmetics, though this is the weakest of the three so far.
I forgot how beautiful this game is. Still stunning to ride around and take in the sights and sounds of the World.

Picking this up and playing this again recently
So apparently, there was supposed to be a f***ing sea/river monster in the game
Man, RDR2 has a ton of paranormal/supernatural shit. Makes me even more sad that we didn't get an expansion pack like RDR1 did

Two years on I'm still seeing videos on YouTube of things I didn't know were in the game. This game truly nails the definition of a living, breathing, open world.

I need to look into this The Strange Man on Youtube usually has videos up with a lot of shit which is how I saw the video about the damn sea monster

It’s not even supernatural, just stuff out in the open world I still stumble upon. I was riding around randomly in online the other day and I came across a crashed old-timey glider plane, and then a cave I’ve never been in. The world is so massive you’re always going to stumble upon something new. It’s so cool all this time later.

The plane is in reference to RDR1 If I remember correctly you find two cause they were brothers. One died and you find him in the wreck and the other got out as you obviously meet him later in RDR1
