So the Lakers are making the playoffs? f*** you Skip Bayless. Excuse me? What does he think this is, the east? This is another lottery year for the Lakers The sad thing is they would also get killed in the east. If they don't get Lebron and somebody else next year we're stuck with lottery years several of them.

I think they'll be fine but they need established talent They should have moved Ingram and Randle for PG13 or Cousins when they had the chance as I see one of those guys getting moved by next year, more so Randle because he's due for a contract and he can play

Also Boogie by himself is not the solution we would become the Kings pretty much. Its Lebron or bust in my opinion.

Meh, considering how good we looked against Houston to start last year, I'd wait out and see. 35 is a reasonable win goal IMO.

I see my man Patrick "Lugz" Beverley is digging in Lonzo's chest already. That's going to happen to Lonzo in damn near every game. His dad wrote a check, that he has to cash. It's going to be a rough physical first year for Lonzo.

A good defender, a max effort guy, scores enough, shoots the 3 a little, not a true PG. Teodosic is more a true PG, Griffin is gonna be running a lot of the offense. Rivers kinda sucks, but he'll get his minutes because of his dad. Bev is gonna have a rough time finding his niche on this team IMO.

On the plus side, when their team is losing, it can be entertaining. Yea, it's funny when they start finding any excuse to be positive I was watching the Jazz broadcast and they sounded so condescending saying Denver let's their Center bring the ball up to court but he doesn't know what to do with it and then 30 seconds later ohh here comes Ingles he can handle the ball (he's mostly known as a 3 pt shooter) Please tell me the world doesn't get the craziness of Stacey King doing Bulls games. He's our guy, dammit!

Beverley is one of the best defensive guards in the league and probably more valueable then a Doug Christie because of many many elite offensive guards their are in the western conference right now. If he was replaced with a guard with just average or slightly above average defense skills I don't think the Clippers would have a shot at the playoffs.

I'm not taking away from him as a defender, I'm simply saying he's a limited player. IMO Snow was a masterful defender in his prime and pretty much let AI get away with doing as much or as little as he wantsd on the defensive end. Neither Houston nor LA's playoff hopes were/are riding on Patrick Beverley. The problem is that despite him being a fantastic defender, the NBA's rules are much like the NFL's in that defenders are essentially handcuffed. The top PGs will still get theirs against him, because it's almost impossible to stop a Wall or Westbrook in this day and age. But in the 90's, Beverley maybe would have been up there with Glove.

I can't wait until Lavar Ball goes to the "where are they now?" section. It is a serious shame. Honestly, Lavar has some good qualities. He stands by his kids, he supports them, he 100% believes in them. But he is such a jackass, it is impossible to like him. It also puts a target right on the back of Lonzo Ball, who by all accounts is a really good kid. Has a good head on his shoulders. The hype behind him isn't all from his dad. Even tonight he's playing a lot better. 13 pts, 7 rbs, & 6 ast so far is a real good line. On pace to have a triple double by the end of the night. But his dad casts such a shadow over everything. I blame the media a lot though. They keep giving Lavar a free platform to talk. I mean, why exactly is ESPN interviewing him after the game?

I can't wait until Lavar Ball goes to the "where are they now?" section. I turned on ESPN the last night wanting to see what they said about the Dodgers winning and they're interviewing Lavar about Lonzo. That, btw, was a terrible game between a lottery team and a borderline playoff Clippers team. You're interviewing the dad of a dude who just had a terrible game on a bad team in a quasi-unwatchable game. Just because he says crazy shit and you like to troll your audience. It's so bad. If they came on and said "We've got Arizona Coyotes 3rd line center Nick Cousins' dad who thinks dinosaurs still exist under water leading off Sportscenter." I also would be shaking my head at the uneblievable lack of quality. But for some reason, people respond to it. I'm out of words for people who actually watch that stuff.

This is essentially Linsanity all over again except you can't blame the Media for making Lonzo a hype machine but making his father one and still putting a mic in front of his voice Mike Wilbon layed into him earlier and ESPN on PTI saying stop putting a mic in front of him because he's killing his sons professional career by making it about himself Lonzo Ball has a quiet confidence but his father is doing him no favors and Lonzo is going to be the one to get the heat because of his own bad play when he's a rookie

ESPN always plays to what is either the most annoying or something no one cares about. They are part of the reason Tebow is not in the NFL, sucked off RG3 and look at him now, gave LBJ his platform for his "decision" Continuous stupidity

Lavar the person has to be commended for raising three kids who got scholarships and became great basketball players.
My problem is that he claims that Lonzo is already better than Curry, will be rookie of the year, and take a mediocre team to the playoffs. That already put a target on Lonzo's back and add to it that Magic claimed he was the face of the franchise, if he doesn't succeeds the first couple of years then he will be considered a failure.
The hype is so big that he won't be allowed to develop. We saw already what Beverly did to him, imagine how John Wall is gonna bitch slap him, then he also has to worry about Westbrook, Harden, Kyrie just to name a few.

Anthony Davis becoming a good three point shooter has been one of my favorite league happenings in recent years. Dude is a human cheat code
