Also Markieff Morris absence is felt.

This has been a good team comeback by a young Lakers squad The talent is there but they are going to take their lumps. Tonight is a learning experience Unfortunate some might get moved to clear cap space. Ingram showed up at least. Randle is def gone and that dude is talented Clarkson as well

Well last year they beat the Rockets and the Warriors in their first week and they were still a lottery team.
I don't know if Ball will become Jason Kidd because right now he's more like Ricky Rubio.

Wtf is Lavar smiling for? Your son didn't do shit Probably because Wall can’t talk much after missing the last shot. Which means LaVar can keep running his mouth.

I would advise against it since Lonzo's next game is against Kyle Lowry. Also Wall pretty much kept Lonzo to six points thats nothing to brag about.

You guys are just feeding into it at this point. Ever heard The Simpsons song, "Just Don't Look"?
Either way, I'll take this win. Great team effort.

People in twitter claiming the reason they won was Lonzo, not Ingram, not Clarkson, not Kuzma, not the fact that they rotated Randle to guard John Wall...but no Lonzo who had 6 points in 40 minutes and was bailed by his teammates...

Isiah Thomas made a great point about Boogie Cousins on nba tv. He said that Boogie shouldn't be taking so much threes that he should take less and stay on the paint because they've been losing so many close games that instead of going 2-6 from the perimeter, he could go 5-7 on the paint and they would have a better record. A lot of good to great bigs are trying to become deep threats to to round out their game and compete in today's open-up game. The problem being that there is a point of diminished returns for wandering bigs. It used to be that just certain bigs who could went out there like Al Harrington or Rasheed Wallace (and even Detroit begged him to stay in the paint sometimes). Now, Lopez transitioned well from a big who was always on the low post or with that KG baseline jumper at Stanford. But someone like Ibaka who was a very effective big man and now has become a 3-point shooter and is seemingly maddeningly inefficient. Boogie could be a much higher % offensive player and a better rebounder offensively if he hadn't fallen in love with his relatively mediocre ability to shoot the trey. I'm of the mind that Draymond is the big man blueprint. His ability to guard the stretch big is way more important than his ability to occasionally shoot the three. He better not. His son is getting Roy Hibbert'd out there, but I'm not sure if it's because Wall or that he's sucking bad tonight. As I said before Lavar is going to talk a lot of shit to take the pressure off his son but he's also going to say something stupid and make it all about himself He isn't really taking pressure off his son though. He's putting more pressure on. Although, Wall deserves to lose just because of that bullshit on the last play. You got an open look, no contact, just shoot the damn ball instead of trying to draw a foul that wasn't there. Dude put up an awkward attempt and prayed the refs would bail him out. I like Wall, but that was trash.

The good news about the Pacers is that I don't have to worry about them making the playoffs; this team is going to legitimately be awful.
And that means a high lottery pick.

Like all acts it's only a matter of time before this becomes a distant memory The best thing to remember is the media can make you but they can also break you He's already said some outlandish shit about women, it's only a matter of time before he says something else stupid and they have no choice but to stop giving him a mic

Another thing that upsets me is that he only appears to care and promote the sons that could get him money, he told the middle son Liangelo that me might not be good enough to enter the nba.

Only game I'm getting tonight is Mavs-Grizzlies.
I'm picking Dallas, they're a rebuilding team but I think Dennis Smith can become a star.

I like Wall, but that was trash. I mean pressure off in the context of the talking heads yapping about the stupid shit Lavar said as opposed to the bad game Lonzo had like game 1 Yeah, but dudes in the NBA keep hearing about him and his dad and get motivated to shut them up (and a little bit jealous that established vets don't get the press this rookie does.) I mean, the talking heads would not be on Lonzo Ball for bad play if not for his dad. Look where Fultz is at and the lack of criticism he's faced. Dude lost his starting job on day 1 as the #1 overall pick. It's whatever. But Lonzo goes on a long cold streak, and not only are players on him but the media is on him. There is no reality where LaVar is taking pressure off of Lonzo. Other players want to shut him down for pretty much nothing he's personally done, NBA fans want to see him fail, and if he does it's going to be big news. That's all undue pressure from his pops wanting to become the Kardashians of sports. He already had some pressure coming into LA to run an uptempo offense, but his dad compounded it by 100.
