Was Hayward injury worse than Paul George? Yeah he might miss an extended period of time but PG13 is still playing at a high level. Equal PG13 is an exclaimer tho because Livingston suffered that same injury and never really became the player they thought he should be Tho in saying that after years of being back he's found his niche |

He could but I doubt he would be effective If they don't get him back at least a month before the season starts than it's a wash George was able to come back with like 2 weeks left in the season to get some wind and start his true grind for the offseason It was essentially for his psyche and confidence |

Celtics looked good. I figured they'd drop this one anyway but the loss of Hayward for an extended period of time bites. Jaylen Brown looked awesome, and Tatum was great debuting with a double/double.

Tough one tonight. I know that's the understatement of year.
Still, after the overhaul of the roster many people wondered if this Celtics teams would have the heart and fight of last year's team. Well, there's your answer.
After the gut punch of Heyward's injury nobody would have been surprised if the Celtics just packed it in. But the Celtics took the fight to Cleveland in the 2nd half and nearly came out with the victory. Jaylen Brown is going to be a beast.
I wish Gordon Heyward the best and hope for a full recovery.
