I'm not seeing it till Sunday now.

I could stay local but I'm meeting a friend in London to go see it.. Annoyingly the latest showing is 2pm and she is working and I'm working Saturday so Sunday is the next feasible day.

So I've just conducted a list of my Top 10 Episodes of Season 7..

Before I begin, here are my Top 5 LEAST favourite Episodes of Season 7.

Now here is the thing, I actually don't flat our dislike any of these episodes.. In some cases I did like them, however in most cases they just didn't quite do it as well as other episodes...

5.

Rock Solid Friendship

Not a terrible episode by any means, In fact I still like it.. However, Pinkie Pie was a little bit too annoying this episode.. Pinkie Pie episodes are usually pretty good but this was one of her weaker episodes.. Plus I'd be more interested in one of the other Pie Sisters getting a bit more Ford Focus rather than just Maud.. Nothing against Maud but we have seen our fair share of her already.

Honest Apple
Once again, not a terrible episode. But just not one of the best.. It definitely had it moments like Guitar Playing Rarity etc, But Applejack was a bit to much of a jerk for my liking this episode and the whole "It's a draw" ending was pretty lame.. Not bad but far from the best.

Once upon a Zeppelin
Again, I did not hate this episode by any means, It was great to see Twilights Parents get a big role and what not but once again this episode just didn't do it for me like other episodes and just not as memorable, Everpony getting excited about Twilight was just "Meh".. Moving on.

Fluttershy Leans In
I really didn't want to put this here, believe me.. I hate that I have to because I have to be honest.. This might surprise you but Fluttershy is my favourite Mane Sixer, but I can't beat around the bush with this one.. This episode was kinda Boring.. It was cute and it had it's moments but just not all that exciting.. I really wanted to like this one obviously because it was a Fluttershy episode.. But it wouldn't be fair to lie now would it?.. Sorry Shy, you are still my favourite and I still loved you in this ep

1.

Campfire Stories
My least favourite episode of Season 7.. and It's not even a bad episode, I would still watch this over the likes of Mysterious Mare and Owls well that ends well.. But it just did not much for me, Yes learning about the legends was interesting but otherwise it just didn't do much for me.. Still not god awful by any means.

So there you go, 5 Episodes I did not hate but just weren't my favourite.

Hmm, so 2 of the 3 episodes featuring the stories about the Pillars of Equestria are in the bottom 5.

Just a coincidence I'm sure, but interesting nonetheless.

Triple Threat

I will admit that for most part, Spike episodes are improving, and this was a good fun episode.. The outcome may have been a little predictable but so what?, it doesn't have to spring a big surprise to be good.

I enjoy Embers character and Thorax was good fun to.

Hearing Lyra talk is always welcome.. Though Spike was acting a bit to much like Twilight this episode.

In the end don't assume they wont get along.

A good episode that sneaks into my top 10

Well now, Thorax makes back to back showings on my list.. This was another great episode and the first to feature neither the Mane 6 or The Cutie Mark Crusaders.. Personally I thought Pharynx was hilarious and some of his dialogue actually made me laugh like "What a Ridiculous thing to say" and "I caught you in a net, I thought it went well". The changelings were pretty fun themselves and Trixie works well as Starlights sidekick, even if Starlight makes some dumbarse decisions sometimes.. But all in all another solid fun episode

Celestial Advice

The episode that kicked off Season 7.. Normally I prefer to leave Season Openers and Finales off the list, however as it wasn't a double episode I decided to add it.. It's pretty clear that Starlight Glimmer is sort of a marmite character with the fandom, some like her, some can't stand her.. I'm on the side that likes her and I actually think she breaths a new breath of fresh air into the show. It's interesting to see where they are going with this and Celestia laughing like a maniac was kind of hilarious too.. All in all I thought it was a good start to the season.. Though if all of this is leading to an Alicorn Starlight Glimmer.. I think the Season 3 finale drama will be tame in comparison and I for one will be grabbing some popcorn and watching the action

Fame and Misfortune

This was just a fun episode.. Yes it is pretty obvious that they were making fun of critics of the show here but I feel they were also making fun of themselves which I can respect. The town did come across as jerks but it was part of the fun.. My main criticism for this episode would be and I must agree with MD on this is I don't like how they used characters like Daisy and Lemon Hearts the latter being confirmed as an old friend of Twilight, but otherwise Just stupid fun.. This seasons Slice of Life if you will.. Also a lot of people said this episode was Mean Spirited.. I f***ing hate that term so much so I will say no it wasn't, If this episode offended you, It's your own fault for choosing to be so.

A Royal Problem

Now I don't share the same love for the Royal Sisters as others do here, don't get me wrong I don't dislike them (Though not a massive Luna fan).. But this you could say was their long overdue episode.. I kind of enjoyed their little feud. One problem I always had with Celestia in the early seasons was I always felt her personality was a little bland but she does seem to have developed nicely as the series has gone on and now no longer seems as generic.. I like Starlight but once again this was another "This is such a shit Idea I shouldn't even have to tell you why".. But it made for a fun episode, and to see an Evil Celestia was a big mark out moment for many.. All in all this episode delivered and frankly was well worth the wait for Princess Fans.. Solid stuff

Marks and Recreation

Ok I admit there is a bit of bias on this one, I doubt this would be on most peoples top 10 and if it were then I doubt it would be this high up.. But it's no secret that Rumble is one of the characters I have wanted to see for a long time get a big role and I'm thrilled to finally see it happen, and for me it did not disappoint, I was surprised they went the route they did with him, but the whole not wanting a cutie mark was cool with me.. Outside of that I liked of the new filly/colt designs like Kettle Corn and Skeedaddle.. Just a fun episode all around for me with some great moments, I'm glad Thunderlane was in it too... Would I have liked this episode as much had it been another character?.. I dunno it's hard to say but who cares?.. I would welcome Rumble back anyday

Hard to say Anything

Once again another episode that is probably higher up my list than it would be most others.. But it's my list and I'll put whatever I want wherever I want .. Anyway this was another ep I personally really enjoyed, and I was glad to see the MLP team bite the bullet and officially put Big Mac with somepony, they have teased it on numerous occasions with both Cheerilee and Marble Pie, The former agreeing to just be friends although you still see them together from time to time and the latter there is a danger they could be related (Though I hope not), and the fandom thing with Fluttershy is not even worth talking about.. Either way it was good to see one of the friendtastic four get attention again, Featherbangs was a silly character but still fun.. Just a fun ep even if a bit embarrassing at somepoints.. For what it's worth I'm all down with Bellemac .. and a later episode confirmed it was still a thing (Though I forget which one exactly.)
