I heard lots about this show, or rather seen their merchandise and pictures all over the place, so when over at the mother in laws I watched the first two episodes. Not bad, not bad. Liked the episode were the dogs take over the family and Rick and Morty use an Inception plot to help Morty get an A in Maths.
So how do the rest of the episodes go? Does it get worse/better? Dont have quite as much time to watch things these days so its good to get a heads up.
Love the theme tune.

"Meseeks and destroy" and "total rickall" are the episodes that make this show a must watch for me. Having said that, I find most people have very different opinions on what episode is the best.

It's never really lost it's quality for me. But I know a few people think the current season is kinda weak, so I'd suggest finishing them by season and if you feel like you want more keep going.

The pilot is pretty awful all things considered

I am going to have to sign up for Hulu one of these days to run through this and a few other shows.
I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes, and it is right up my alley.

I personally love all of them.
Though I guess I can see why some might not like certain parts.
Season 1 was great.
Season 2 was as close to perfect for me as you can get, real solid episodes.
Season 3 there were parts where it began to feel like they were trying to hard but it was still good stuff.
All in all I say it's all worth checking out

For me, season three leans a little too hard on "grotesque comedy violence in massive setpieces", but the quality of the actual dialog and plots never really flags.

I think the only thing that season three will be remembered for is Pickle Rick. That's turning into a merchandise seller idea for the show.

Season 3 is the weakest but it's still a very good season. It's one of those shows I wanted to hate based on the non stop hype but it lives up to the hype. Keep watching and enjoy.

Season 3 started off strong for like the first 6 episodes or so but then it whimpered out like the last 3-4. The Citadel episode should have probably been the one to end the season on instead of Rick fighting with The President

I loved it from the get-go. One of the few shows I binged.

I just got around to watching this show too. I was curious if it was worth all the hype I’ve been hearing about it. It was very easy to find for free in HD on the internet. I really enjoyed the Meseeks episode. It actually had me laughing out loud which doesn’t happen easily for me. My sense of humor is so expansive that sometimes I feel like I’ve seen it all. It can be hard to pop me but that episode totally did. I’ll finish the season and I might knock out the next two as well. I think each season is only 10 episodes. That should be easy enough to knock out.

It grows on you. Same situation with me when first starting. I’m like “I get it, and I like it, but why is everyone saying it’s the best animated show on TV?” It grows on you. Now, I rewatch episodes and I’m literally busting out laughing out loud. So stupid and so smart at same time. And dat voice acting! It’s next level stuff.

Honestly "Where are my testicles, Summer?" Was the exact moment I knew I loved the show.

Rick Potion #9 is on some next level shit, when you consider it.

Honestly "Where are my testicles, Summer?" Was the exact moment I knew I loved the show. That moment was great. I’m liking all the references to other shows too. You don’t have to get all of them to appreciate the show itself but it’s a nice bonus if you do. There’s a lot of clever stuff tossed in there.

Rick Potion #9 is on some next level shit, when you consider it. That was the episode that sold me on it. I had seen a few episodes here and there, and thought it was pretty good. I decided to check it out some more after the whole McDonald's debacle, and after that episode I was hooked. I ended up binging the whole series that weekend. It's good stuff.
