"Sizzle reel" they're gonna shop around is up on Youtube. Decided to check this out, and the thing that really pops out for me is there's absolutely no Pentagon in it. At all. And it isn't just they decided to feature other guys over him or anything, they've got a bunch of clips of action from the main event showing the other three guys in it, but there's no shots with Pentagon even in the background. I wonder what's up with that. I assume it isn't a Lucha Underground thing, since like half the guys on the show are from LU. LU's relaxed their restrictions and he worked the taping, so yeah, it's not on them. It's rather weird to omit one of the biggest stars in lucha today and prominently show an accused woman beater instead. |

So without any word of them getting any network attention, they've already announced that they've signed Guevara to a "multi-year" contract.
Don't know who's more stupid, Aroluxe for signing people before getting a network or Guevara for signing on without even knowing if this thing has a future.

I feel more should be made of the odious people behind this (everywhere in wrestling media, not just here). I find it a bit upsetting that outside of the first few pages here, I'm only seeing a bit of buzz about it and nothing about the problematic people involved.
I might be totally wrong but it feels like another case of deeply unpleasant things being glossed over 'cause wrestling.
