I wonder if he will lose his job. If not will WWE distance them until the heat cools down. Like how they released Daniel Bryan and then bought him back months later.

Damn Hudson should've picked Pookie from I Love New York.
Yeah like the cops wouldn't get involved for petty bullshit this is a major problem and there's even a gun involved allegedly.

I thought if the cops were brought into a domestic violence issue against a WWE talent they had to be suspended until it was over with?

I thought if the cops were brought into a domestic violence issue against a WWE talent they had to be suspended until it was over with? I think it's only if a charge is actually raised against the performer. EDIT: WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated. Per WWE's corporate site, it's if the talent is arrested for it. If no charges are made or charges are dropped, so is the suspension. Otunga wasn't arrested, just ejected from the house, so I'm guessing the police thought the situation to be hostile but didn't actually see any evidence of violence.

A bizarre story. No matter who's right, it's all wrong.

It doesn't look to me like it's an issue of not seeing evidence; the story says they forced him from the home following the protective order. So it's not that there was an altercation or someone called the cops because violence was going down, the cops were there to enforce the order and get him off the premises. For charges there generally needs to be a specific incident in play, and she never called the cops on him for hitting her so they weren't there to take him in for it.

Do most custody battles get this ugly? Yes. I had to interfere in a family's custody battle where one of my relatives used the 'child fears for their life' line of thinking when that couldn't have been further from the truth. I don't know what is or isn't true between Hudson and Otunga, but I do know that both of them will say whatever they need to say to win. Mainly because that's how these things usually go. A custody battle is by far the worst thing I've ever been involved in.

Put your kids first people. They need both parents. How hard is that to understand? Sounds like this kid should be with some this party (family) until the parents can get their shit together.

And this is why you NEVER assume anything or take first salvos as truth when it involves custody issues.

Update per Black Sports Online: Turns out she was cheating on him with a gospel singer. That's f***ing terrible and hilarious at the same time.

Well that's garbage and means the kid is probably going to walk away from this fight super f***ed up if lies are going to be slung around, but at least Otunga isn't beating his kid.

I hope those who were quick to pile on Otunga admit they were wrong.
