So I had been hearing this name for a few months, he even popped up on my timeline in a pic with Rey Mysterio. Judging by his look I thought he was some sort of rock singer. Then I heard "Congratulations" and was pretty amazed it was him. I haven't been into Hip Hop for a couple years now, barring a few pop-ish songs. I seen him on my YouTube and decided to look at some interviews and stuff, and man he is fascinating! Something I really like about him. I feel like I would really connect with him in real life. Seems like a free spirit and not a care to give, is just himself. Really cool guy.
I decided to check out his album and I am blown away! The place I'm at in my life a good few of the songs really resonated with me. As I said I've not liked Hip Hop for a good while, but something about the flow of all these songs just completely embedded in me and I just kinda went into a world of my own listening to it. Something that hasn't happened in a long time with non-dance music. I really love the deep, relaxed feel of the songs. Epic listening. Favourite track is probably "Go Flex", which is actually a tribute of sorts to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Turns out he is a huge wrestling fan, which makes me even more of a fan.
Anyone else into this guy? Listened to the album "Stoney"? I really recommend.

Damn, I thought this was going to be about how great Moses Malone was in the post. I still face plan about the trailblazers cutting Moses Malone during the 1976-77 season. Yeah we won the championship that year but next year Portland had the best record in the nba tell bill Walton’s ankles exploded. Being able to put Moses right in to Walton’s spit would of got Portland another championship probably

Stoney is a good album and you also got singles like Rockstar which him and 21 Savage collaborated on. I'm glad you are getting into him as over the last few years he's def getting his shine up Also rappers do a lot of shoutouts to wrestlers. You got Migos with "Too Hotty", Offset and Metro Boomin with "Ric Flair Drip" and other shit I can't think of off the top my head

He's almost a lyrical cliche. (language/content warning) Migos also had a verse in Deadz: No twenties or fifties, just Benjamin Franklins , block on lock, call me Kurt Angle..,

The weirdest part about Post Malone is how Syracuse is trying to claim him. He was born here, bit moved to Dallas when he was 10. It's bizarre. As far as his music, it's ok, I don't mind it if it comes on, but not something I think I'd seek out.

When you listen and read to his comments tho I get what he's saying Obviously that only applies to him, there's good hip hop and rap songs out there that can make people cry and wasn't this is a slightly joking tone anyway because he said he has a lot of emotions because he's white

I seen that Too Hotty song on a wrestling website lol and I've seen a whole load of wrestling stuff in rap songs which is cool.

I checked out some of his stuff and wasn't impressed. I saw him on the Vice channel and he was going on about Area 51 and some other nonsense.
