Just feed him to Woodley so we can see a severe ass kicking.
Your UFC fantasy camp is over, Punk, Stick to something that you’re good at, if you don’t want to be involved with wrestling find something else that your passionate about and pursue it with all of your heart.

I can't think of what UFC can do with him in the ring. He got his ass kicked so bad that it isn't even safe to put him in the ring with a professional fighter. I am not joking whatsoever when I say he could get seriously hurt even possibly die.
He really should just take a bunch of cash and do some indy shows, but apparently he does not want to wrestle anymore. I would say New Japan would be a nice play to go, but I am not sure they would sign him considering they still try to protect the business to some degree despite everyone knowing it's a work.

Wasn’t he doing comic books with Marvel ? His Drax series didn't last long, and he's done a couple annuals/one-shots. Some of it might be down to Marvel's own problems, but he didn't exactly have a Ta-Nehisi Coates impact coming in either.

(11 issues) he also wrote one or two thor one shots and this month's Master of Kung Fu (not sure if he's on the book permanently or what... but still it's Master of Kung Fu which isn't even like a C-list level property) But Nothing really set the world on fire writing wise.

I saw Punk jogging a few weeks back. He looked to be in good shape.

I saw Punk jogging a few weeks back. He looked to be in good shape. Sure, but there's a difference between "In good shape" and "possessing the skills the be legitimately competitive in a martial arts environment". Punk is one, but clearly not the other, judging by his last fight.

I wish that Punk and Dana would just be honest about it, they used each other and they and everyone else with any sense knows it: Punk so that he could fulfill his MMA fantasy camp and get a big payday, and Dana to try to pop a buy rate.

He got his ass kicked more than a year ago and I sincerely doubt he became a world class fighter during that time. Only way he would win a fight would be if he fought a literal tomato can like I'm talking Bumfights bullshit. *Dana White is talking to CM Punk about his next fight.* Dana White: Okay, you're fightin' a guy named Boxcar Bob. CM Punk: Brawled his way up from the boxcars, did he? Dana White: Uh, no, not yet. He still lives at the train yard. But he's a hungry young fighter. In fact, he's actually fightin' for a sandwich.

he wants to transition to being a commentator? I'm not even sure how well THAT would work out, to be honest.

Nah, New Japan would love to grab hold of him. May not be able to come to an agreement money-wise, but he could be the face of their US expansion like nobody else on the market could.

And you'd better believe that the Young Bucks would be creaming their pants to get CM Punk into a Bullet Club t-shirt. That really would be the end of the gravy train for Cody, though.

CM Punk: "Hey Dana, so my next fight...." Dana: "...." Dana: "...." CM Punk: "What?" Dana: "Come on, man..."
----------
Punk's always been an amazing entertainer but I still can't believe he went to UFC like that. I mean, I get wanting to learn and maybe do some fun exhibitions for charity or something, but to actively compete for the first time at nearly 40 yrs old is very strange.
I get that he doesn't want to wrestle anymore but damn.

Matt Jackson has admitted he's been pestering Punk to work with them. As far as Cody, he would definitely have to play second fiddle to Punk, although I'm sure there is a way for him to make money out of the situation.

I love his articles, I had no idea he dabbled in comics.

The burial that Punk could give Cody the SECOND that the Jacksons (literally) kick him out of BC... ...yeah, Cody would probably never work for a televised wrestling promotion again if Punk turned all his guns on him.

There is a reason not just anyone can get in the UFC.
