I love how goddamn Felicity jacked Barry and Iris' wedding.
I don't hate Felicity, but that was f***ed up, lady.

Everything except the heavy emphasis on Iris and Felicity the worst of it coming in the flash portion...being able to move around starlabs air ducts WITH OVERGIRL let alone RF right there and lets not even get into them taking out armed guards with absoloutley no help whatsoever.
Apart from them absoloutley loved the crossover just top notch stuff all the way but Mick was the showstealer though. He IMO is the single best character across all the shows..he just wants 3 very simple things....eat , drink and burn things.
"Bride or groom side?"
"Well considering I have tried t kill the groom a couple times , I should be on the otherside" lol.
Now hegins the though of just how the heck they plan to top this next year because this was ambitious as hell for a TV show.

How Iris didn't deck Felicity at the end is mind boggling. That aside, all four episodes were fantastic. Those Professor Stein scenes though

I greatly enjoyed it. Worked a lot better than the Invasion! one last year. The lack of J'onn (outside that start at the top of episode 1) was unfortunate, but was literally my only complaint. .....well, that and {Spoiler}RIP Martin Stein. I was hoping they'd just let him retire back to his family as the way to write him out of the series.
It was done well, at least. I love how goddamn Felicity jacked Barry and Iris' wedding. She jacked an impromptu ceremony in the park with an impromptu proposal. It's not like she stormed onto the altar, murdered the Greatest American Hero/priest with a meat cleaver and demanded her own wedding too. Come on kids enough with the Felicity hate.

Jacking any kind of ceremony at any time is f***ed up. I would never speak to anyone who did that to me again. Doesn't matter how impromptu it is. And then there's the f***ing camera angle too. Get the f*** out of the way of the real stars, Barry & Iris.

So Barry and Iris cannot have their full wedding ceremony but Felicity gets one and immediately after?
Arrow is nosediving at full on TNA rate.

I have no issues with the ending. I mean everyone one was wondering why the hell they weren't getting married int he first place. Again I have never had an issue with Oliver and Felicity getting together, my issue was always how badly the writers handled them once they were together.
Onto the actual crossover, or how I like to put it How a Justice League movie should have gone. Everything was there high stakes, romance, heroics, laughter, and lasting effects. Everyone played a part in the event, very happy Diggle got a big part despite missing out on the heroics, and the villains were a threat.
In fact it was a treat to see evil Supergirl and how far apart her and Kara Danvers were when it came to ideals. One of the worst parts about Justice League for me, apart from that terrible Flash, was hope forgettable the villain was. Here we got Hitler Oliver, Evil Supergirl, and Reverse-Flash who apparently escaped the time wraiths by going to another Earth along with Nazi's. I'm mean they're about as memorable and credible of a threat as you can get when it comes to villains as opposed to a some flunky from another planet doing vague stuff.
The interactions between the heroes was absolutely the best part though. Sara and Alex, Mick and everyone, Stein with Caitlin/Jax/Sara, Cold and Oliver, and so many more. Made for a fun two nights. I honestly want a blu ray of a cut of this as a whole movie now. Honestly could work as one. Side note-Yes, yes I did cry like a child during the whole fourth episode and I don't care who knows. Damn was that emotional.

I loved the crossover even though Iris and Felicity sneaking around Star Labs was kinda silly. The parts on Earth-X gave me chills. It was a cruel, evil world and I'm glad they didn't sugarcoat the "what-if?" aspect of the Nazis winning WW2. But there was also a lot of fun. Goody two-shoes E-X Snart, the interactions between Alex and Sara, and especially Mick being... Mick. The Legends characters really shined in this crossover when outside of Sara they felt like kind of an afterthought in Invasion. {Spoiler}Martin dying also got me in the feels. His funeral was accurate to the Jewish style of funeral being relatively quick after the person's death and family and friends each taking a turn shoveling some dirt into the gravesite. It brought back some memories of my grandparents' funerals when I did the same thing for both.

Also, in related news, The Ray (E-X Snart's boyfriend with the light beam powers) is getting his own animated spinoff series on CW Seed next month. It's also going to have other members of the Freedom Fighters show up and one of the villains is a doppelganger of Barry Allen as a Nazi Flash. Amell and Benoist are also reprising Dark Arrow and Overgirl.
Looks like the members of the Freedom Fighters showing up are Uncle Sam, Black Condor, Phantom Lady, Human Bomb, and Red Tornado.

I absolutely loved this. I really liked Earth X Snart and am curious to see which show he winds up on now that he is on Earth 1. Heatwave totally stole the show though.

Do people just hate love?. Love has nothing to do with it. I was happy to see Iris and Barry finally get married. I was so excited when Fitz and Simmons got together in Shield. Felicity is just a terribly written character. People hate her because Arrow became the Felicity show at one point. Everything is always about her and she is always right. The breaking point for most people is when she broke up with Ollie because of his son and suddenly gained the ability to walk again just so she could walk out on Oliver after he said goodbye to his son. Awful stuff.

Awful stuff. I don't find she's written any better or worse than any other character on the show; they're all flawed people. I also disagree that it's the Felicity Show. There are lots of subplots on the show that do not involve her: Wild Dog and his daughter; Diggle as Arrow and his drug problem; Dinah and her ex partner; Deathstroke and his son. I also disagree that she's always right: Helix and Cayden James, for example. Oh I don't mean now. It was absolutely the Felicity show in season 4 though. I'm actually really enjoying this season and all the various sub plots happening. I think Felicity has mostly been fine this year but I feel the damage has been done. Sidenote, why weren't Dig and Lyla at the wedding? Seems odd they wouldn't invite them. Hell, they invited Mick.

Considering current events, seeing superheroes beat the crap out of Nazis was very cathartic.

That gif loops right before Sara smacks him upside the head for asking that. Sad.
