MJ's sense of melody and rhythm was insane. This album was ahead of its time.

I'm not going to lie, The song Thriller scared me as a kid, I actually imagined Zombies breaking into my house and attacking whilst in bed at night.
Yeah that song f***ed me up..
Now a days I can easily enjoy it but damn did I dread hearing it as a kid ;D

Fond memories of being at a friend's birthday party in the 1st grade, in which they were showing the video.

There's always something about Human Nature that just sets the tone for the entire album, just an absolute perfect song on a flawless album. I love thriller to this day.

I remember this album very well. MJ was actually banned in my house when it came out because of the Thriller video (he wasn’t bad, the video was deemed ‘too scary’, so no way was any of his music flying), but I finally got the album in 1995 when I really did a deep dive into Jackson. I still personally prefer Bad, but this is just still so groundbreaking and amazing in terms of music and style. All hail Poptimus Prime.

And the scary thing is, we still haven't posted audio clips of this albums' three biggest hits. THAT is the mark of a great album, when even the "weaker tracks" are still awesome.

“Human Nature” and “Wanna Be Startin Somethin” get the most listens from me. Classic album all around.

When I was younger, I thought the lyrics were " night light, tell me that it's human nature".

Some music journalists say more effort was put in to recording and producing Billie Jean than Kid Rock's entire career.
It's still really sad to think he's gone.
