Decided to start playing FFX and losing my mind at the chocobo race as usual to finish up Tidus Weapon. On the flip side I enjoy Blitzball as it takes my mind off things and can be fun especially when you start dominating
What minigames did you hate?

There were a few in Donkey Kong 64 that tried your patience since they progressively got harder like the beaver/klap trap game or the one you shoot watermelons at kremlings. Rare was notorious for this shit.

Citadel is the best DLC I've experienced in any game, but f*** those pull-ups, man.

This. I'll take that over the card flipping game. The AI on that is insane, they almost never hit a baby Bowser on their first or second turn. I think I've played that game a hundred times, and maybe won a handful of them at best.

Mahjong and Shogi in the Yakuza series. How do you even play them?! I also suck at dancing in Yakuza 0. I can handle karaoke a little better, but still couldn't ever get a perfect score on that either.

Chocobo Racing and dodging lightning in the Thunder Plains in FFX The dodging lightning is something I tried on the PS2 when it came out and never tried it again. Even with me having the game and beating them on PS3 and PS4 again I never tried the lightning shit again. Tidus shit is all about luck but sadly for me it takes 10,000 tried before luck is on my side

Dodging Lightning wasn't a mini game. It was punishment.
I mean seriously, the guy who said "Why don't we just lock her weapon behind dodging a million lightning bolts in a row?" clearly meant it as a joke. And some asshole just had to make it real.

Decided to play the first Megaman Legends a while back. One minigame had you race through the town with the rollerblade item. The final few races were brutal, as you needed to be near perfect to get the first place record. The chocobo race of FFX didn't compare to how clunky it felt.

Final Fantasy X is the king of awful minigames. I didn't even like Blitzball.
Tetra Master in FFIX was also pretty bad because it was basically Triple Triad, but on a 4x4 grid and with rules that make no sense.

On Triple Triad, I was at an age where I wasn't as good with English as I am now. Even then I managed to learn how it worked, and generally had fun with it. With Tetra Master I wasn't even sure what the heck it was supposed to be (though admittedly I treated it as Triple Triad most of the time) and thus din't have as much interest on it.

The Karate Kid part 2 for the Amiga had a couple of mini games that break up the monotony of the awful fighting on it and UNLIKE THE NES version, those mini games are MANDATORY! Go look up YouTube/ Your Google Machine and search Karate Kid 2 Amiga review www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1KT8Wd6RBk

Tetra Master was the king of "Ok, based on everything I know this card will crush that one" *loses*Whatever *hits reset*
I swear that game just made shit up on the fly
