Freak accident. Fell off the roof of the house he was building for his wife. The sort of guy who wouldn't only give you the shirt off his back, but offer 2 more and a ride home. I've been trying to process this for the past 24 hours, can't make sense of it. Just saw him the other day, was supposed to go on a road trip with him Friday. He was busy with the house so we called it off. Ii just needed to rant to someone because I don't know what to do. This is so f***ed up. I'm sorry for rambling

I'm sorry for rambling Bro, We're the kind of Forum, that you can vent to and we're always here for you. Never be ashamed to vent to us. I'm Sorry to hear about that, you never hear enough about good people like this but too much about bad. All I can do right now is... With all due respect as I don't know if he drank, but I'll drink one for him. Cheers

As someone who lost his Dad and his Cat this year, and had a good friend, one of my absolute best friends in a Car Accident this year but thankfully he turned out completely ok (Didn't stop the fear and panic) we're here for you bud, I know how rough this can be, this year has been especially hard on me, but know there are people here for you through it all no matter what happens. My deepest condolences to you, and his family, everyone effected by this tragic loss.

I'm sorry to hear this, you know that you've got plenty of support here.
It's never easy losing a friend, especially when it's a sudden thing that comes out of nowhere. I've been through a similar thing, nicest guy you could meet and things were going well for him. Then one day he was just gone. Like you, I even missed out on the last time I was supposed to see him, it was a barbecue and I skipped it because I couldn't be bothered.
I can't tell you how long it will take and you can't rush the grieving process, but it will get better. Now when I think of him years later, yes I'm sad that he's not here anymore but, it's primarily happy thoughts and remembering the good times.
Again, we're here for any time you need to get some thoughts out of your head, whether on the board or through PMs.

Don't be sorry for rambling, vent as much as you need to.
And I feel for you, death almost always seems to come to those who least deserve it.

You don't need to feel bad for venting. Terribly sorry to hear about your loss, you can talk about it here as much as you want.
