In short form, the vid:
-Finds the message "be proud of your flaws" and "liking someone because of their flaws" to be awkward at best and a terrible message at worst.
-Does not agree with the "the ponies read the journal the wrong way" message because it gives off the impression that there is only a right and wrong way to interpret a story (a message the show did far better earlier in "Stranger Than Fan Fiction")
-Hates that it's an "Attack On The Critics" episode (an episode trope he has yet to find a good example of. Also of the opinion that MLP should be above that kind of thing compared to shows like Teen Titans Go. Lastly, the references here only work for those that have followed the fandom, unlike "Slice Of Life" which he points to as an example of an episode that also contains lots of fandom nods but still works for people who don't know about the fandom references).
-Unlike other MLP episodes he hated like Putting Your Hoof Down, Dragon Quest and Rainbow Falls, those episodes at least came up with solutions to their dilemmas. Here, the dilemma is left unsolved without a solution.
Oh, and he does not get into mean-spiritedness at all.

Yeah that episode was fine, a little fan servicey (In the nice way) at times but nothing glaringly wrong with it at all.

I have nothing against the episode as well and "Flawless" is my favorite song of Season 7, but I still find it interesting how he interprets things and it is enlightening to see another point of view.

pretty sure that's how RETRO believes he actually wakes up in the morning  also that is correct answer mr eunos finally i did my first promo card for PONYMANIA7, not posting it yet since i'm on my winXP machine and it's before the aforementioned answer correcters' drollety, since trying to do what i wanted in GIMP was a sodding nightmare ..... but i can do something else i'm planning to do with it ..... there's a lot going on with what i want to do in the run up, thankfully there WON'T be any writing like i've done over the last few, still have nightmares doing that AND the cards in just a week!!! that's ONE WEEK! and already know the design for NEXT YEARS ponymania ..... DROLLETY IS A WORD i used it therefore it makes it one  |

Mornings It's Pony Rumble day I would do the whole Vince mcmahon thing but I'm at work on my Mobile right now so it will have to wait. I won't be watching it live this year, Instead I shall be Internet dodging all day and watching it at my local comic shop tomorrow night. I did warn the comic shop guy that I might get angry if I don't like the result.. he said likewise  Pony on down. |

That cover is probably Cadance talking about Shining's performance in bed...he just gets so into it when he tells Flurry Heart bedtime stories.
