And was wondering what are the availabilty of Disney Land tickets like over there? I'm hoping to finally visit that place and I don't think I can get any tickets delivered to where I am now and don't really want to risk them not showing up if I do order them. So, if I go to Florida, what's it like for ordering the tickets? Do I have to go to Disney Land itself or can I buy tickets from a particular office for a particular day? And anything else I should check out in Orlando while I'm there?

Are you staying on site at Disney? If so just buy everything through Disney's website and your park passes will be attached to your account and used via a wristband called a Magic Band. I highly recommend staying on site if you are just doing Disney, service is great at Disney hotels and then you have the advantage of using the bus or monorail system.
You can buy park passes online from Disney, they are sent to you via e-mail.
Undercover Tourist is the most reputable discount ticket seller, but I think their tickets are all mailed.
I've actually only been to Disney. Obviously Universal Studios is the other big thing. There's also Sea World. I've heard great things about the Kennedy Space Center.

All the others would be secondary really, acting as a back up if I can't get into Disney World.
