A friend of mine is currently paying a visit to Rochester, NY, and made a point of boasting he intended to have one of these. Looking it up, this is what I came up with And I had about the same reaction I did to The images of the Impact Wrestling themed pizzas. That is to say mixed disgust and disbelief.

Mentioned garbage plate and my girlfriend knew it immediately. She never had it.
I will eat it if the chance presents itself. I will hunt the white whale.

hey look a chance to post Babish! His voice sounds like Kevin Smith. Also, I don't want this because I hate my food touching, but I figure it's not that much worse than people eat at buffets.

Garbage plates are wonderful. Although the garbage plates we had up north was a burger, fries, and mac salad, IIRC.
But yeah, nothing will ever beat poutine.

I had never heard of a garbage plate up until earlier today when I saw and episode of DDD where Guy Fieri went to a restaurant in Virginia and had one.
Sure enough, the owner/chef was from Rochester.
