Details from the arrest report (bottom of P2): - Argued in a car after he started criticizing her match. - He wouldn't let her out of the car so she jumped out as he slowed down for a stop light. - He then jumped out, leaving the car to roll and hit a phone poll. - He then grabbed her by the arm and head, dragged her back to the car, locking her in it. WWE has announced he is now suspended (policy posted on mid P3, WWE statement on P4) per their policy on domestic abuse. |

So those jokes about Swann looking like a creep and someone who would be a predator... in retrospect, "Yeah, looks like" fits very well now.
And yeah I wouldn't be shocked if Swann is taken out of the match even before it happens at this point, I would imagine they run with the hot hand and give Gulak a shot as a face, it's either that or Cedric I guess.

As mentioned, domestic violence is an automatic zero tolerance suspension, so I highly doubt Swann vs. Gulak takes place. My guess is since they ran qualifiers for this #1 Contender's match, they'll either change the match to a multi-man, or run another qualifier on Raw (with the #1 Contender's match possibly moving to 205 Live. |
