Did anyone else enjoy this in the early 90s? I thought it made for a different look and a great prop in some matches

I've always found ramps kinda fun, but they can also be potentially dangerous. Didn't Rick Rude get his ultimately career-ending back injury by getting hurt on it? Or was that a different structure?

I watched a highlight clip of the match on YouTube and there are at least two instances in which Rude hits his back on the runway: when Sting suplexes him onto it from the floor, and when Sting dives onto him with a flying clothesline. But I think the actual injury occurred earlier in the match when Rude is outside the ring and Sting dives onto him from the top rope. The ring was on a raised platform, and Rude appeared to hit his back on the edge of it as he fell. I loved WCW’s runway. When I took tae kwon do and we learned how to break boards, I used the pieces to build a small one for my toy wrestling ring. I popped when the company brought it back for Slamboree 2000, even though the commentators acted like it was some new thing that had never been used before.

I liked it enough, but you saw it a lot on WWF TV when they'd do Maple Leaf Wrestling.

Always thought it was cool. When I was a kid, I had a toy aluminum semi truck and I would push that up against my wrestling ring and use it as the ramp.

I loved when they would do spots on it, and it made the entrances look more like a spectacle.

I enjoyed the unique nature of the ramps. It made the event and the wrestlers seem like more of a spectacle. It was like the WWF WrestleMania ring carts, those were awesome too.

I love the Clash ramp. So much so that it has become an in joke with my friends whenever a new WWE game comes out...and every year I get disappointed.

Are you guys referring to the elevated ramp that was at the level of the ring?

Different setup, and at ringside nowhere near the aisle. Ring was on an elevated platform of some sort and a Stinger splash forced him to land on its edge pretty rough.
