Much like Noam Dar & Kassius Ohno in ICW, as well as Jack Gallagher in PROGRESS. Another UK indy gets to borrow a WWE guy, although this is interestingly not just a main roster guy, but an indy that WWE haven't appeared to have a relationship with previously. Also interesting that PCW's controversy regarding their Kris Travis Tribute event didn't prevent such a deal.

Once again, the UK indy scene was a hot, up and coming market. So WWE quickly came in and put roots down in every cool, independent fed there, just to make sure none of them got any bigger. The UK scene is so cool, and it could be so much cooler if they weren't all turning into secret developmental feds.

There are currently a lot of rumors swirling that Oney Lorcan/Biff Busick is going to be back at Beyond Wrestling for one night only on their upcoming New Year's Eve show. It would be pretty cool if this could be a thing going forward.

It's cool that WWE is generous like this.

It's cool that WWE is generous like this. It's not generosity, it's leverage. It's their way of saying "Hey, this nice thing we did for you? Remember it when it comes to your talent looking towards ROH or New Japan, remember that we sent our dregs to your shitty little indy, and make sure your guys go to us".

That doesn't work very well as leverage when WWE regularly signs ROH/NJPW talent. It think it's more a message to their current lower card talent that they hold on to just so they can't work else where. "Hey don't quit because we'll let you work the occasional indy to keep you happy while you collect a steady paycheck from us".

I’d just like to add that last weekend for two days in a row, Pete Dunne and Trent Seven (Tyler Bate was on one but he injured his ribs Saturday at RPW so wasn’t at OTT the night afterwards) were on the same show was NJPW and ROH talent. Specifically the Bullet Club. Also, Jordan Devlin won the company’s top title at the same show.
If WWE’s trying to manipulate the scene to prevent them from being anywhere near the Young Bucks or any other NJPW and ROH talent, they’re doing a really terrible job at it.
I need to see more smoke before I believe there’s a fire.
