Because honestly I don't see this guy losing that Gucci belt until after WM. Idk if that Nakamura match will happen at WM and even so Shinsuke ain't winning, dude's been lackluster since that Dolph feud. Nobody on SDL can compare with AJ Styles right now, he's too good. I say it'll be after the draft when they get some new blood because right now it ain't looking good for contenders. They won't pull the trigger on Rusev (imagine English helping Rusev win) so they gotta do something.
Then again...Orton/Styles is a money feud. I can see him losing against a veteran like that potentially but who knows. Shit, I wouldn't be against Styles holding the belt until next year's WM. He can turn heel midway this year. He'd pull it off.
When do you think?

At this point in time I'd have him lose the belt to Kofi at Mania, since it's going to be midcard anyway and it'd be a good moment.
Failing that I'd have him hold it to whatever the post-Mania PPV is and lose it to Miz.

Let him keep it as long as he wants.

The WWE will do something dumb. Look for him to lose it to Bobby Roode or something at Mania.

Helps 2 guys out and hell given they somehow withstood The Last Generation (2006-2011) they can definitely get some shine from it.

I see him losing it to KO after WrestleMania unless they decide to give Cena #17.
Maybe Joe if he goes to SmackDown after the shake up.

He'll lose it at next years Summer Slam when the WWE decides that Roman needs to be the Undisputed Champion

Hard to tell. Nobody is really ready to take it off him besides Owens, but he's busy in the whole Shane/Bryan thing.

Could be the best Royal Rumble moment in years.

Keep it until after Mania. About time we had a credible and lengthy face champion run.

I like the idea of Kofi/AJ, but if that doesn’t happen I would do AJ/Orton at mania, AJ retains, and then maybe he goes to Raw? Trade for Roman? I know it’s a long shot but it would be interesting, and the wwe championship Just belongs on Raw, the Universal title should be the experiment title on SD. He could maybe lose it to a heel Ambrose or Samoa Joe

I figure AJ is a lock to be in the WWE title match at Mania, because anyone in position to be taking it from him would be challenging for it at Mania.

The length depends on how long it takes for them to push Nakamura to the belt I assume.

God willing he'll hold it until they're ready to put Rusev in the main event. I'd pay Wrestlemania levels of cash to see that feud.

I wouldn't want Orton anywhere near it. I know I'm a vocal detractor of Orton (except for him putting talent over, that I respect) but he's at a point where another title reign would be largely meaningless. They're not going to have him beat Ric's record and at this point he's past 10 world title reigns I think. He's better used as a gatekeeper/Undertaker punismhment guy.
I've only seen bits and pieces of Nakamura on Smackdown which I understand is nowhere near his best work. That said, I'm still waiting to see what the fuss is about. I would like to see Owens back in his prizefighter persona when he pretty much just kicked ass and took names. If Sami got the U.S. title that could take them interesting places.
That said, a lot of people have been wanting a new day member (Big E or Kofi) to step up to that next level and that could be great. Kofi has been on that cusp so many times.
Miz has been doing great work and it would be nice to see him get a proper run. I'm one of the few fans who enjoyed his first run (that was actually when I started respecting/liking him) but he definitely suffered from Cena/Rock, just as CM Punk did.
Finally, I would love Rusev as WWE champion. He needs to be built up a bit more but the guy has it. Strap him up...after AJ holds it for a while.

Nakamura wins the Rumble.
Staredown with AJ on the next SDL.
The fans go nuts.
There's your WM match.
It won't be a hard sell, folks.
Win or Lose I'd be happy with the outcome of either man.

Since they've had problems lately booking faces strongly that people actually like, go ahead and let him hold it for a while. Like a solid 6-7 months.
