You felt this was the end? It got too big to swallow WCW whole? Which wrestler were you like, it is getting close, if not at this moment, has jumped the shark?

Virgil joining made me realize ok this is getting out of control.
Then Jeff Jarrett wearing an nWo shirt was disgracing a corpse.

I distinctly remember, when Big Bubba joined, thinking, "But isn't this supposed to be the edgy, cool group?"

It's gotta be Brian Adams or Dusty. Not sure which one, but yeah, one of those two.

I don't remember the order. Guys like Bubba and Virgil were filler - job guys in cool t shirts, really.
My pick, however, is Randy Savage. It was pointless. He had just been feuding with them. He didn't fit.

Sting in the Wolfpac has always been a WTF moment for me.

I never had a problem with the nWo B team-- it felt in line with the entire takeover angle that as the nWo kept kicking ass, they'd start attracting their own batch of craven henchmen, happy to turn on WCW for a chance to be on the winning side. The big name defections, though, felt like they diluted the brand away from the core trio of Hogan/Nash/Hall.

Crush. It was such a drawn out conclusion any guy that jumped from WWE coming in as face was going to turn heel and the NWO join by the end of the segment, night, PPV, it just made the real faces look dumb and gullible at that point.

Lol Dusty turning heel should've been a classic moment but it was done in such a weird way that nobody seems to remember it, and in true wcw fashion Dusty joining the nWo didn't lead to anything.

I get the idea of having lower card guys. Lackeys to eat pins, to give the big stars an entourage, to placate guys to not kill morale due to the nWo being THE focus of WCW's management, really, and since an invading force having manpower makes sense. Still, what was the point of Dusty being in, outside of just probably making Dusty happy? Sting wearing nWo colors was just so wrong. The irony being he'd been white and black, anyway, only not for nWo's sake.

Giant.
It was supposed to be invaders. He wasn't.
Bubba too because, well nothing he did worked in the more edgy period that ensued.

Believe it or not, he's the only NWO member that actually did that. Hennig almost counts, but had been around for 3 months by that point and had already turned heel before joining the Horsemen and then the NWO. Only other one that almost counts is Barry Windham, though he was never made an official member of the group and is considered an "associate" of their's.

I can only recall Brian Adams debuting as an NWO member.

Nasty Boys.
Just the thought that anyone would wear their colors meant they were going to water down the brand.
VK Wallstreet. Hahaha. Money Inc as edgy cool heels in 1996?
GTFO.
