The main thing that bother's me is that the WWE doesn't have a lack of talent. This is I believe, without hyperbole, the most stacked the company has even been with talent. I hope they don't get brought in and are just bottom level jobbers. There really isn't much roster room for anything else at the moment, although that's a Booking issue. It's purely a booking issue. The most important lesson to learn from the Attitude era is "make everybody on the card matter". I hope that's the direction we are going... but I doubt it. At least they'll be paid. I think they're probably in something closer to a KENTA-level spot where they probably had enough value to get a higher than entry level salary, and WWE would be more inclined to try to have them be big deals to justify paying them that much. That, and Ricochet has a decent number of connections in the company as it is, so he will probably benefit from that. Not as sure about War Machine, but WWE's got depth problems with their tag divisions right now, and Authors of Pain may be due to get called up soon, so they'll have a spot somewhere. Monkey's Paw : Ricochet ends up with all his buddies in Titus Worldwide.

Now Bludgeon Brothers are gonna need a new gimmick. Why? War Machine will be given a Yoga Teachers gimmick.

War Machine is nice. They could have some bad ass matches with Authors of Pain.
And Ricochet...brah. "Too nice" doesn't even begin to describe him. He's seriously got some of the best body control in the business. His presence, his facials, his timing, all of it is incredible. Big get for WWE, honestly.

Ricochet’s really evolved as a worker in the last couple of years and it’s really impressive. His match against Osprey in the Pro Wrestling World Cup last year demonstrated to me how great he could be as a Neville style heel against a resilient never give up underdog.

I seriously cannot wait for my boy Ricochet/Prince Puma to come to the WWE. I think he's better than 205 Live, but even if he gets stuck there, I think he'll be one of the few guys to transcend it and go on to other things. He's that good of a talent.

Excellent. Now do Matt Riddle and Jeff Cobb next. Cobb is interesting. He is easily the complete and is love to see him in WWE but I also don't want him gone from LU, especially with the end of S3. Riddle, i wonder if WWE is scared of his love of pot. That already cost him his NJPW opportunity.

Yeah, writing was on the wall for all of these guys for awhile now, I'm only surprised it took this long.
Glad they'll all get paid, but bummed I won't really be watching them anymore.
They really need to make it worth Ricochet's while; dude could go out and earn major bank on the international scene right now, so here's hoping they don't just bring him in and plop him on 205 Live, the guy is a star. Dude has been a highlight of watching Lucha Underground and NJPW for years now, sucks he won't be around now.
War Machine is the goods, and yeah, given how big WWE's roster is (plus the teams they already have on the main roster and NXT) there's no reason why WWE shouldn't basically become today's version of 1990s AJPW. Was hoping Hanson and Rowe could've stuck around as NJPW looks like it may be trying to revamp its own tag scene, but again, if this is for the best for them then I hope they knock 'em dead and make a ton of money.
Guess that's the big issue: with how huge WWE's roster is, it'll be interesting to see how well-utilized talents this strong will be.

More talent for the pile. We're hyped about them now, in six months, they'll be "overrated" and "misused" depending on whose telling the story, and we'll all wonder where we've heard this tune before. I really wish WWE didn't need to have EVERY GUY lately. They're strip mining the indies.

Kinda meh on War Machine. They might've been a good signing a couple years ago when the WWE really wanted a new monster/power tag team and realized that The Ascension weren't gonna cut it, but now the WWE has both the Bludgeon Brothers and Authors of Pain to fill that role. War Machine just doesn't bring anything all that different or unique to the party anymore.

About a decade ago, my wife and I were regulars of the Pittsburgh indie scene. At the second show we ever went to, a well known superfan took us around to "introduce" us to the local talent. The last table they stopped at was for a tag team called The Cleveland Mafia. The "established" member of the team was talking to someone else, so he skipped to the young guy - a bald, intimidating looking man partially covered in tattoos. "This is Ray Rowe," he said. "He's a real sweetheart. He'll do anything for anybody." He was a bit shy, but cool as hell. We discovered two things about him that night: 1. Everybody we talked to, from management to the other wrestlers to the fans, loved him and 2. The dude could freaking go. We, like everyone else who saw him back then, were instant fans. It wasn't if Rowe would be big. It was when.
We watched him go from the talented young guy who needed a pep talk from his mentor just to get him to go into the after party down the road (we were parked beside them) to a name that both the WWE and New Japan actively pursued for months. I've heard the rumors about Rowe refusing to sign anywhere unless Hanson was signed as well. I don't know if they're true. But I honestly hope they are. It would make him the "total sweetheart" the Pittsburgh fans always thought he was.
TL;DR: It's fun when the person whose career you've been following from the beginning makes it big. It's even better when that person is a certified class act.

I've only seen a bit of War Machine in NJPW. They were kinda cool, can see them fitting into the NXT tag division.
I never liked Ricochet. He's a good wrestler, but bores me. Prince Puma was one of my least favourite parts of Lucha Underground. His title reign was really bad. I see him getting the typical indy star treatment in NXT.

Ricochet in NXT...AWESOME.
Ricochet in WWE under Vince.....stay in the indies and make yourself a fortune without having your mystique ruined or potential squandered.
The dude can help carry a company, he's proved it, but in Vince's WWE where only one or two people matters I'm afraid he's never going to get a fair shake.
I hope I'm wrong.
But the dude as NXT champion can breathe life into that title.
