Richochet was just a matter of time. He had to wait until Prince Puma was written off for Season 3 of LU. That also explains why New Japan was hesitant to push him more as a singles guy in the Junior Division.
War Machine have taken it to another level with their Japan run. Though am I making it up or wasn't the rumor a few months ago that WWE had a deal in please for Rowe but he was holding out until they signed both of them?

Excellent. Now do Matt Riddle and Jeff Cobb next. Cobb is interesting. He is easily the complete and is love to see him in WWE but I also don't want him gone from LU, especially with the end of S3. Riddle, i wonder if WWE is scared of his love of pot. That already cost him his NJPW opportunity. WWE are the ones who hooked Riddle up with EVOLVE, if the rumours are right; they said they wanted him to keep at it and get more seasoning, so they're clearly just letting him keep developing. He lost his New Japan opportunity because weed is super illegal over there and he didn't want to risk it. In America he'd be looking at minor fines when he gets popped for it, nothing like how it ruined his UFC run. Even when asked about it in a conference call Triple H gave a cagey "Hopefully he can clean his act up" statement that I'd imagine has more to do with not saying "Weed is totally cool" while it's still not fully legal across the country. Unless Riddle gets into bigger trouble, he'll be around in time.

Authors of Pain vs War Machine is going to be incredible
War Machine vs Killian Dane by himself will be incredible
Ricochet vs Almas though? I might lose my mind...

More talent for the pile. We're hyped about them now, in six months, they'll be "overrated" and "misused" depending on whose telling the story, and we'll all wonder where we've heard this tune before. I really wish WWE didn't need to have EVERY GUY lately. They're strip mining the indies. On the contrary- the issue is that WWE strip mining the indies is needed to keep the indies white hot and make the indies the indies. The indies aren't getting strip mined and rendered irrelevant by WWE making all these indy signings to have EVERY GUY/GIRL...on the contrary, the indy scene is so vibrant and so white-hot now in large part because of WWE culling the herd to keep the indy scene growing. As it stands, the circle of the indies works better: Young up and coming talent starts rising the indy ranks. They become a top indy draw and eventually go national, getting booked everywhere. When they become a top indy draw and are booked all over the country and all over the world, eventually WWE comes calling for them and they sign. That signing opens up new spots, allowing another indy talent to get booked all around the world, which allows a new indy talent to get booked on the super-indies, which allows another indy talent to get booked regularly in the regional mid-major indies- opening up as many as three new spots for new blood on the indy scene from one indy name getting signed by WWE. Since the indy scene is so homogenous and the top names wrestle around the world, an important part of keeping the indies fresh is WWE signing the top names on the indies just to take some names out of the indy scene so they can be replaced with new rising stars.

People question why you'd sign with WWE to be booked bad...at least he knows he'll get paid.

I’m interested in what they do with Ricochet, and also how his body will hold up to the WWE grind/how much of his flippiness gets scaled back

I know the WWE name change isn’t necessarily a thing anymore, but I really want his WWE name to be Rick O’Shea.
I’d love to see him show up at the Rumble and get a few crazy spots to get him over with the WWE audience right from the start.

Not that it’s likely, it’s more likely that he’ll be a crowd shot at NXT Takeover the night before if anything.

Hanson wrestled for Chaotic in Massachusetts last night, and that was openly described as his farewell too.
