As down for this Shield reunion as I was in the beginning, I'm totally over it now. What I really want is for Seth to get traded to Smackdown. Similar to when Dean got traded there when the Brand Extension first began, I really think he needs time away from Dean and Roman. Other then the mini fued with Bray and his thing with Finn when the Universal Title debuted, has he had a feud that didn't somehow involve Roman, Dean or Triple H?

I agree. I would put either Rollins or Balor on SD to face AJ for the title. It baffles me that WWE has not done AJ vs. Rollins in a singles match of yet, while AJ has had feuds with both Reigns and Ambrose. Yet to me Rollins is the Shield guy Styles matches up best against.

I assume he's going over in the next shakeup since he has nothing to do and clearly is not going back to the Universal title ever.

Definitely Seth vs AJ, Seth vs Nakamura there's just WAY more for him to do on SDL. At this point Seth on Raw is a dead loss. Even if I have to wait till after Mania this is pretty much all I want. Honestly I'd send Finn and Seth both but I doubt that will happen.

No clue what is about the guy, but I don’t really want to see him do much of anything. Which is weird because he’s pretty good in the ring.

I feel like Seth could use both a switch to SmackDown and a brief heel turn, the latter mostly because his face gimmick is an awful, underwhelming bore and he could use a switch back to heel for long enough to try and find some other way to take it that clicks better.

Yeah....especially since AJ is a face. I just think the supposed plan of turning Dean heel on Seth doesn't make a lick of sense. If anything Dean and Seth should both want to kick Roman's ass since a lot of their current issues can be laid at his feet.

Given Ambrose is out some he might as well flip over.

With dean out, possibly for mania, they might as well have Seth go to Smackdown and have dean follow him and they can do the heel turn and fued from there. Heel dean can beat AJ, Seth can beat dean for the title and then AJ and Seth can main event mania 35 for the Wwe title

The reason I enjoyed Styles/Ambrose was because it was something different. Dean had gotten away from Roman and Rollins, who were feuding on Raw.

Maybe he doesn’t want to go it’s his day off and he could always watch it on tv.

They don't want to send Seth or Balor over to Smackdown because they know we'd just watch Smackdown all the time then with Seth, Balor, AJ, Nakamura, Owens, New Day, and The Uso's over there. In other words, they don't want us to have nice things and give us a reason to watch.

With Seth being the main one.

Seth's heel run was predicated upon "I betrayed the Shield for Triple H", and when he turned face it was primarily so he could fight Triple H, then to reunite with Dean. Dude desperately needs to escape from Raw and carve out his own niche, because as much Roman may have kept the gear and the music, Seth hasn't been allowed to move on much and make something of his own, either. Dean was already pretty successfully doing that before the brand split, and going into Smackdown was a huge boost there, but and now Seth really, desperately needs to do the same.

Totally agree, and take Finn with him as well. I understand Vince has this fetish for Roman for reasons. But is it really that difficult to just push Balor or Seth towards the Universal Title? Balor never lost it, Seth has a legitimate claim to it, and I am sure fans would eat up an actual face vs. face Universal Title feud. So what's the problem?

Okay now that we know chances are high that Dean:
A. Will miss Mania altogether
or
B. Not be back in time for the build up a fued with him and Seth would need (and deserve tbh)
Please God don't let them do my Kingslayer dirty.

I think Seth is in a good spot to take a good long break from wrestling. He's only 31 years old. He's already put himself into the "future legend" category, and sticking around in the midcard spinning his wheels is not going to do him any good other than making his wallet a bit fatter. While also putting a lot more mileage on his body.
If he left for around 2 to 3 years or so he could take some time off to do whatever personal side projects he's probably wanted to do. And then he can come back to a massive return and highly promoted feud with whoever is on top at that time.
I kind of want to see what Seth looks like as he gets a bit older too. I have a feeling he's going to become more rugged looking and it will probably enhance his heel work greatly. Imagine if Seth put on a lot of mass like Orton has in his later career. He'd be very intimidating.
