The George C Scott version now on on AMC. With so many of them out there you got a good list to choose from

Mickey's Christmas Carol is king, followed by a tie between Muppets Christmas Carol (fun version) and the 1984 George C Scott one (serious version)

Speaking of the Muppets one all the talk on the When Love Is Gone song scene is really something It annoys the piss out of me that scene has been cut from the DVD-onwards releases. For me it's where Scrooge is truly humanised, no longer simply afraid of what awaits him after death, but truly regretful for the path he took in life.

Mickey’s Christmas Carol has always been my favourite.
I’m looking forward to my annual viewing tomorrow.

No love for the Blackadder version?
Yeah it's technically a TV special and not a movie but still.

Muppet's my favorite one, but George C. Scott, Patrick Stewart, and Mickey's all rank highly, too. Scrooged is good, too, but it's different enough to where I often don't really consider it when thinking of versions of the story.
Someone should do a Ghost of Christmas Present burlesque routine, just so they can name their breasts Ignorance and Want.

Always wonder about the Stewart one. You really don't hear many bring it up

Always wonder about the Stewart one. You really don't hear many bring it up I have it on DVD. It's really good, but shows it's age I feel.

I adore the George C. Scott version. I feel the costumes and setting are perfect, and Tiny Tim is actually...well...tiny and sickly looking. Too many times in other versions, Tim looks like a perfectly normal kid just with a crutch. George himself is outstanding. His voice, IMO, is perfect for the character.
I enjoy other versions like Scrooged and Mickey's Christmas Carol, but when I want a more "authentic" version, I always reach for George C. Scott.
