Lars I only remember for being Ole's son but I don't think I've ever seen him wrestle. In my opinion the last legit Anderson is Karl...even though he never got permission from the rest of the "family". I wish they would do a reality show about an Anderson family reunion. Lars was Gene and Ole's "brother" - you're thinking of Bryant, who was Ole's legit son. There’s definitely more money in EC3 dropping into NXT than Derrick Bateman. Even if he just does indies he should own the name. For what it’s worth though, WWE should just go whole hog and bring him and Dixie in.

There’s definitely more money in EC3 dropping into NXT than Derrick Bateman. Even if he just does indies he should own the name. For what it’s worth though, WWE should just go whole hog and bring him and Dixie in. I don't want Dixie to be rewarded by WWE for being shit at her job. It was barely cute with Adamle, it'd be tired to do with her. |

There’s no financial benefit in doing it and considering Dixie’s business history, it’d be f***ing gross. She also can't act. They'd be better off just having his benefactor be a different supposed relative. Hire some guy to be his uncle, Dixon Carter. Or have the benefactor only show up in video packages, be EC3 in a bad grey wig and have him play Ethan Carter II |

Really the best part of EC3 potentially going to WWE is he could no longer menacingly quote his theme song at people.

Wrestling history is full of fake relatives who kept the name but not really the familial connection afterward. Superstar Billy Graham, Crazy Luke Graham and Mike Graham are all brothers and nephews of Dr. Jerry Graham in kayfabe, even if most of them never worked with one another. Rick Steamboat's "dad" Sam Steamboat was never mentioned in his "canon" again after he went to WWF. Similar to the Andersons but the only requirement to be an Anderson is that you have to be balding and a little pudgy to be part of the Anderson family. Well, unless you count Ric, David and Charlotte. |

Carter is a really common last name, it really wouldn't be that big of a stretch for him to do the character with the same name in NXT or WWE and not have to bring any of the rest of his "family" in.

It's not a bad move for him. Yeah he does't have the Dixie connection any more, but clearly this character is where he's built the most notoriety. He might as well have control over that.

There's no point in referencing his TNA storylines in WWE since TNA creative was unfathomably bad even when his matches were good. I'm guessing this is more about calling him "former TNA wrestler EC3" if he has to go indie...
Although I kind of doubt TNA 2015 plotlines are "money" in all but the smallest indies at this point.

Yea, like I stated earlier this is good for him in regards to just being able to have it as an option EC3 as a name will play on the indies and ROH but not in WWE If he went back to WWE he would more than likely get the Derrick Bateman name and they'll just switch up his gimmick to add some qualities of EC3. Mostly the selfish entitlement and snobby attitude but you'll still get the jokes and quips |
