This is only way I see this leading. Jordan has been getting good heel reactions with his crybaby persona. I can see Jordan finally snapping on Angle in a violent rage feeling that his "dad" keeps holding him back. This could go two ways. 1.Jordan reveals Angle isn't really his dad and he just played Angle. 2. The typical my dad was never there for me as child promo.
This would give Angle a spot on the Mania card that keeps him away from the main event scene. Angle can pull a decent match out of Jordan. I see this as a good 2nd or 3rd match spot, following the typical opening show ladder match spotfest.

I'd be happy to not see Angle in the ring again. He wrestle's like he's held together by bubblegum and popsicle sticks.

The thing is, with Jordan winning the tag title some of his complaining might go away. Of course that depends on how long they keep the titles.

If they had them face each other, it wouldn't be one on one in a regular match. I don't think Kurt has it in him to have a match that would satisfy his fans without either gimmicks or other wrestlers to make up the difference, or putting himself at serious risk, and the latter especially seems unlikely to make much of a difference anymore.

A street fight could cover for Angle's limitations, like they did with Bret vs Vince.
I still think there's a way to salvage this whole thing. Do the Jordan heel turn, where he beats down Angle and says he faked the test, and wanted the ruthless wrestling machine, not this washed up has been. Angle is gone for a few weeks or however long, comes back, admits he knew all along that the test was fake, but just...just wanted a son, a legacy...(heartstrings tugged).
This leads to their street fight at Mania, which ends with a triumphant Angle standing over Jordan saying, "You're right after all, Jason. You're not my son."

Watching Angle back at Survivor Series was painful.
Sadly the guy is a shell of his former self, Could happily see him not wrestle at Wrestlemania.

Watching Angle back at Survivor Series was painful. Sadly the guy is a shell of his former self, Could happily see him not wrestle at Wrestlemania. He was also wrestling with a pulled quad at Survivor Series. He can still wrestle at a high level, just not as well as he used to. |

Angle can barely move, so you’d think they have probably nixed any notion of him having a proper match. Maybe they’ll do a tag match and Jordan will finally turn heel on him.

I maintain if WWE showed Angle doing stereotypical dad stuff with Jordan like filming him at a Little League game, building a soapbox racer, and going to PTA meetings, as though Jordan is still a kid and Angle is trying to make up for lost years, it would result in funny segments far more entertaining than watching these two guys wrestle.

Can we just reunite Jordan and Gable already?
Now that they're letting Gable start to show a personality again?
You could even keep Shelton with them and have Shelton turn vicious like Minoru or something. Put Shelton's knee strikes that he started doing over as something dangerous.
