2018 Wwe predictions

Can’t believe we haven’t had this thread yet, but here goes mine:

We will see Cena vs Taker at WM34
Braun will win either the Universal title or Wwe title
Samoa Joe will win the IC title the first Raw of 2018 and hold it till Wrestlemania, where he loses it to Ambrose
Rollins and heel Ambrose will fued. I can even see them both getting drafted to Smackdown
Smackdown will have some big names going to the show
Orton and Corbin both go to the red show
Either reigns loses the Universal title to a heel Ambrose or Braun

Finn Balor goes to Smackdown
when Roman loses the Universal Championship it will be an overbooked cluster bomb of a finish not even close to a clean pin or submission
Rusev wins which ever world title is on Smackdown
Jinder will get wellnessed
Lesner will re-sign with the company when his contract expires
Hogan will resurface
Breezedango will win the Smackdown tag titles

Nakamura wins the Rumble, goes on to beat AJ Styles in a classic at Mani for the WWE Title

Undertaker does not wrestle.

General Managers swap shows.

The IC and US titles get upgraded to have a red and blue strap respectively, the titles no longer change shows.

Reigns loses the Universal title at Summerslam in a Fatal Fourway, where Joe submits Balor. (Strowman is also in the match). Joe then drops the belt to Strowman at the next PPV. Reigns and Strowman are kept away from eachother.

Uso’s get a main card match at Mania.

Killian Dain wins the ATGMBR.

Woken Matt Hardy is moments away from winning the MITB, but the victory is stolen by Miz. They go on to have a 3 PPV long feud.

Smackdown win Survivor Series.

Killian Dain and Nikki Cross will be called up, but not as Sanity. Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe will stay in NXT.

Velveteen Dream will be NXT Champion.

Aleister Black will be called up... To 205 Live.

For the coming year:

- There will be somebody who walks out like Neville, but is a bigger name
- The UK show still doesn't happen
- A New Day member wins a singles title
- The members of Sanity are brought up to the main roster separately, EY stays in NXT and builds a new Sanity.
- The commentary teams increase in size and decrease in quality.
- There will be a 'First Time Ever' new type of match.
- Something historic (other than the rumble) happens with the women
- Ambrose heel turn
- Released/ leaves: Hideo, Colons, Ziggler, Ryder

The rumble will be shit, and Mania will last so long that by the time it finishes it'll be the Summerslam pre show

- Nakamura has a nice run with the US title (finally getting revenge on Jinder) but doesn't win the big one.
- Miz and Rollins end up on smackdown and have a long feud for the title.
- James Storm ends up in NXT but EC3 doesn't.
- WWE and NJPW have talks about working together that end amicably with an eye to the future but don't really go anywhere.
- This alpha sports thing goes nowhere.
- Ziggler is the surprise FE/release of the year.
- Xaiver Woods is the surprise singles push of the year.
- Wyatt and Woken Matt end up as tag champs.

1. WWE will have a tournament similar to the Cruiser and Women tournaments, on THE MAIN ROSTER... not a side series.
2. SummerSlam's card will be really weird
3. Either Raw or Smackdown will distinguish their belts in some way as far as rules, qualifications, etc... maybe the Smackdown Tag Titles become a 3(6?)-Man Tag belts... to always be held and defended by threesomes, unlike the other brand's belts which can be held by a trio but only defended by a twosome. Or perhaps the IC Title will have enforced time limit matches, maybe the US Title has a mandated open challenge for one lucky person as long as the Champion is scheduled to compete.
4. NxT gets more tv time... becomes a 90-120 minute show and/or gets Raw/SD branded exposure/showcases.
5. The Bar or The Club will replace The Miztourage.

1) Cena vs Reigns 2 for the Universal Title will happen at some point between WrestleMania and Summerslam, or will be the Summerslam main event
2) Women's Tag Team Championship is created, as the first interbrand championship.
3) The UK show doesn't happen and the UK Title becomes the equivalent of the European Championship.
4) The Wyatt Family will be reunited, when Bray goes back to SD or the Bludgeon Brothers move to Raw
5) Several NXT wrestlers that are usually not on the show will be released.
6) Ziggler will return to challenge the new US Champion to a ladder match at WrestleMania, in a copy of the WrestleMania X match.
7) Xavier Woods wins the US Title tournament (I know it won't happen, but I hope it does)
8) Mojo Rawley will have a decent run as a heel
9) Big Cass comes back as a face and wins the IC Title at some point
10) Finn Balor ends up on 205 Live in a last ditch effort to bring more attention to it.

I'm so out of the loop with WWE now that I can't really make predictions but I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel Bryan was wrestling elsewhere before the year is out.

Jeff Hardy turns heel on Matt
205 live is cancelled, with the cruiserweights getting sent to NXT
Heat, 90s WCW Saturday Night, Thunder, and Wrestling Challenge come to the network
The Miz regains his IC title (either from Roman or someone else) and keeps it for the rest of the year
The Authors of Pain will go to Smackdown to feud with the Bludgeon Brothers
New Day will break up, but it'll be an amicable break up, with them still remaining friends. All of them will win the US title sometime in the next year
Golddust will retire
Starrcade will still be a house show, but will air on the Network this time
They'll tape some Southpaw Championship Wrestling matches at Full Sail (even handing the fans period-appropriate clothing).

Daniel Bryan goes full pantomime heel before leaving in the summer.
We get a Miz/Curtis Axel feud, and it's actually good!
Elias wins Money In The Bank
Mojo Rawley wins over FAN
Breezango split up and feud.
Vince's new football/entertainment company will be for female athletes.
WWE network will get rebranded.

2. Roman gets the full super Cena treatment after winning the belt at Mania including a clean win over Braun at Summerslam which makes everyones’ heads explode
3. The Smackdown thing gets even more convoluted with Styles & Shane aligning as a heel duo.
4. Balor Club gets momentum & The Tag belts to be defended Freebird/New Day style, but Finn doesn’t sniff the Main Event
5. Samoa Joe to Smackdown and a run with the WWE title
6. Jinder gets wellnessed and buried deeper than the lost City of Atlantis
7. Rusev face turn, but still doesn’t get pushed like he should
8. Randy Orton to Raw for a post Mania feud to put Roman over.
9. Cass returns as a babyface going after Enzo and the entire dynamic of their previous feud is forgotten
10. Brock Lesnar retires
