I rather doubt it. He needs to only look at what has happened to Finn Balor to get an idea of where he would end up in the company. It's not about the money. He's already rich. And I have feeling that any offer from the WWE would not be too competitive with what he makes in NJPW.
Another note: how long has Finn been on the shelf? How many other guys in the WWE spend a third to half a year injured? If I were Kenny I would say f*** that. Not worth any amount of money or fame. Injuries can happen anywhere, but in WWE it seems like a fact of life, rather than an unfortunate accident.

He’s always indicated that he’s interested in going back at some point, but it’d have to be on his terms.
If Omega goes over, he’s there to main event. It’s as simple as that. He doesn’t need WWE, so if they can’t offer him what he wants, he won’t go.

I could see him doing something extremely short term (like what Jericho is doing in NJPW) but a full run? Not for a long time. I can't blame the dude. I've lived in Japan for a decade and you'd need a crowbar to get me out for any great length of time. If WWE actually sold him as a big deal, an ass kicker from across the Pacific there to challenge one of their elites at Wrestlemania or Summerslam, that could be amazing. Don’t think WWE’s vision involves treating anyone else as close to their level, but it should.

I think he will eventually, but I believe it's at least a few years down the road and that might even depend on a few things. If New Japan keeps getting bigger, they will keep paying him as long as they consider him a top star.
The Hot Topic merch deal is huge for him and the Young Bucks. In all honestly, I don't see the Young Bucks going ever and if they do, it's at the very tail end of their career. As long as the Bullet Club/Elite keeping moving ridiculous amounts of merch, they don't need Vince's money.
As others have said, it really depends on the landscape of wrestling in the next few years. If New Japan continues to grow and WWE continues to trend down, there is a chance WWE won't even be able to offer him top dollar and big stars will come to them, increasing their revenue. Right now, for some reason, WWE's stocks are very healthy, but if the tv deal isn't where it is expected that could change very quickly, which would most likely lead to continued cuts.
There is also a major difference between AJ and Kenny. AJ left New Japan because he was sick of travelling to Japan and wanted regular time with his family. Kenny doesn't have that issue. While AJ is making good money, who is to say Kenny isn't at about the same point with more overall time off and certainly more creative freedom. Let's remember, AJ almost went back to TNA, but they offered him a ridiculously low number that was insulting.

I never thought we would see AJ Styles in WWE so it's not Impossible that we could see Kenny Omega in WWE one day, but I don't think it will be anytime soon.
Dude seems pretty happy out in Japan right now.. 4 or 5 years from now maybe.

No ridiculous repackaging, acknowledge his history with NJPW and why that’s important, and give him one high work rate match at a big event. I don’t know that he’s really work another way, or that he’d be interested in doing so.

Probably not until 5 years from now, if at all. He'll have likely had two or three IWGP Heavyweight title reigns by then.

I mean, we have until February for this to be true and, honestly, I’m going to say you might be disappointed.

not that anybody knows but seems people on Youtube are thinking it might be soon cause of recent stuff like this:
they seem to think it will lead to Cody taking him 'out" like they did when Finn and AJ left

Man those announcers suck though.

I can see The Elite branching off into a WolfPac of sorts and the Kenny/Cody feud takes place. This will cement a face turn and an entirely new run in NJPW for him. There's still unfinished business with Ibushi where I'm sure a babyface VS babyface match will be big business. And I think there are multiple title runs from him down the line especially with him being 1-1-1 against Okada.

Ordinarily I would say never but I've seen AJ Styles go to WWE AND be treated like a big deal, so never say never.

Despite the fact the booking has been rough for Balor and Nakamura, dudes are still over and probably shift a lot of merch. Then you have AJ who has been so damn good, they haven’t had any other choice but to make him the main man on Smackdown.
Omega is a smart guy and he would go down the AJ route I think. He doesn’t need to do it though, so it would have to be WWE begging him...

Maybe at the end of his career but I'm starting to see the WWE becoming a place that wrestlers are not as excited to jump on board as they where a few years ago. Guys like Cody Rhodes left the company and is said to making more money now than he did there, that I think other top indies guys are following suit thinking maybe that the direction to go and have more control over there characters and really schedule. Sure there is that WM dream a lot of wrestles have but when you look at there schedules and getting no holidays off, that's becoming the question of is it really worth it? I think more so with a wrestler who have kids, may not as quickly wanting to jump into it. Sure there are those who want it but I seeing the change starting into the direction of maybe the WWE is what it cracked out to be. Its a show change but I see it beginning. I think if NJPW expands to the US like it's doing, that will become the big change in wrestling in the next couple of years when that comes more full effect.
