Since there was no NXT Thread for tonight, I thought I would do one. It was a Best of 2017 Special showing highlights of the best matches of 2017. But it also showed Drew McIntyre VS Adam Cole for the NXT Championship with Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee from San Antonio on November 17, 2017, the night before NXT Takeover: War Games.
Here are the facts for NXT:
- Drew McIntyre VS Adam Cole was the 1st NXT Championship Match of 2018, McIntyre & Cole’s 1st NXT match of 2018, & since it was the only match on the show, their 1st opener & main event of 2018, & was the 1st match of 2018 to have a Special Guest Referee & even though it was filmed in 2017, it still aired in 2018, so it counts in this year’s records

Was very confused when I went WWE.com and saw them hyping Adam Cole vs. Drew McIntyre for the NXT Title and was very confused for a moment  New information for upcoming shows announced on there: *Shayna Baszler debut match next week *TM61 return in two weeks *Black v Cole set for Takeover: Philly don't know much about Baszler... but Hyped for Cole vs. Black and I liked TM61 when they were around and thought it was a shame Thorne got injured as they started working on their characters. |

Wow, I almost skipped this cause I thought it was a regular clip-show. This 2 hour bonanza has an unseen match with HBK as special ref, Drew Mac vs Adam Cole for the NXT title? And the entire Dream/Black match from War Games, omg
Great year-end review show, I wish RAW woulda done this instead of the live show.
