 I don't think it was really special gear, I "think" he wore it a while... but to me it always looked like something women wrestlers wore in the 40's-50's That definitely looks like a 1940's women's bathing suit. |

Motivated by those terrible pants Okada had at Wrestle Kingdom. What are some other times people've tried to spice up their look for a big show only to just end up looking stupid? Most immediate one coming to mind for me is Mysterio's awful Joker outfit.  The rest of the outfit would be fine, but I don't get why he felt he needed the green hair. If the mask just had a smile and the colors, this would actually look pretty decent. |

 This weirdly cut, generic singlet I can't tell whether the weirdly cut section that looks like it was specifically designed to show nipples or the fact it looks 4 sizes too small is amusing me more about this image. It's like they found an unfinished X-Pac singlet, and decided that Axel should wear it, because of reasons. |

I think his best superhero costume was just the Phantom one he wore in WCW for his match with Eddie, because it wasn't really much of a stretch.

I too will vouch for how bad Okada's outfit was. I seriously thought it was just special entrance gear and that he was going to remove it for the match. He even seemed to be gesturing to his belt area. But it never happened.....

Shawn Michaels shit-brown tights from Survivor Series 02  If I remember right those were the pants that weren't finished yet. Even if they weren't, Brown and blue is not a color combination that works anywhere. Adding more blue tinted hearts would have helped nothing. |

I may be the only person that really liked Rey's superhero outfits. He was trying something different that's seen a lot in Mexico and Japan, but not often in the US. I liked how he was able to integrate his own iconography into the outfit, like the Flash bolts being his winged eagle logos. If anything, the worse thing that came out of his Joker outfit was the crack that JR made about Heath Ledger. |

Triple H's biker shorts in 2003.   Now I know that the "Special Occasion" was "torn groin" but those combined with his clean shaven face and Nature Boy perm made him look like an old creep. I think the Reign of Terror might have been slightly better received if Triple H had looked like 2000 Triple H instead of this weird lookin dude. |

I still want to know if the rumour is true that Taker didn’t have his trousers with him (lost at the airport or something) and due to his size the only person who had any spare that would fit him is The Godfather. It’s probably a case of it’s not true but I really want it to be. The big problem with this logic is that the Godfather was not playing the Godfather gimmick at the time. He was in Right to Censor as the Goodfather, and would have been primarily wearing black slacks as his gear. That begs the question of why Godfather would loan him gear from a gimmick he isn't playing that looks ridiculous, when he could give him pants from his current gimmick that wouldn't stand out. One thing I always wondered when this rumor comes up is why couldn’t Taker just go buy some pants? |
