I really, really, really hated the Jinder experiment...but I had to vote Bray/Orton. I don't remember the last time I was so embarrassed to be a wrestling fan as when I watched the House of Horrors match with a couple of friends and the Gf.

For me it sort of comes down to the question of what you consider the Gooker to be - Jinder's reign was the worst part of the year, but Orton / Bray was the dumbest. I'm more inclined to vote dumb than bad... granted both were both dumb and bad.

I had to vote Angle/Jordan.
With Jinder, or Alexa/Bayley, or even Wyatt/Orton, they were bad- but there's a chance that Jinder Mahal,Bayley, or Bray Wyatt can come back from that and be salvaged.
I think they went full Red Rooster with Angle/Jordan, and there is no possible way for Jason Jordan to be salvaged from this one.
Even if he turns heel. Even if he says he's not Angle's son. Even if he's sent back to NXT. Even if he comes back under a mask. Even if he's fired and goes to New Japan, TNA, or NWA.
The Kurt Angle's son will just follow him around through all of those things and he's just ruined forever by it.
THAT'S the true tale of Wrestlecrap.

Jordan shouldn't even be on there. That's still an ongoing thing.
Voted for Jinder.

Jindar. Not just because the wwe is trying the evil foreigner gimmick in 2017, but also the way they did it. Having tradditional Indian dancers on Raw was supposed to give him heat because they are a different culture. Way to go.

I don't think the Bray vs Orton feud deserves it because the first half, with Orton joining the Wyatt Family and teaming with Bray was actually really good. The first time Orton has been entertaining for years.
Orton burning the shack was goofy but still wasn't terrible. The House of Horrors match though, that was dreadful. I think though the first half with the Orton - Bray tag team, the tension between Harper and Orton etc though was good enough to save the feud.

You realize how stacked this year was with extraordinarily crappy storylines when our choice for the worsr feud of the year technically isn't on the ballot (though Nakamura vs. Jinder would get ample coverage if Jinder as champion gets the nod).
It's a shame about Orton vs Bray, because they had somehting with the Orton burning Abigial's shack segment, but instead of being the turning point for the feud, it was the pinnacle.

I like how so many opinion's are "it's not even close!" Honestly was Bray/Orton stupid, yes. Did it tarnish Wyatt even more? Yes. But Bray wasn't coming in with a ton of momentum anyway, and Orton needed his favor for being busted open hardway by Brock. Much like the Owens/Jericho proposed main event for the title at WM, Wyatt was screwed indirectly by Brock Lesnar. Why isn't he on this list? But seriously, yes Wyatt and Finn was also stupid. Alexa/Bayley thing was embarrassing, but there's only one on here that did legitimate damage to the product and that's Jinder's run as champion. It ruined SDL for 6 months, made main events boring copy and paste affairs, ruined Nakamura (seriously it was so bad it ruined f***ing Shinsuke), and made no one look good in the end. And it made Vince look even stupider than he already does on a daily basis. From house shows to ratings, it did a lot of damage. Jinder wins this. AND IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE

Jinder's title run was crappy by all accounts, but doesn't feel like a Gooker win, just feels like bad booking. The circumstances around it give it some heft, though.
Orton/Wyatt feels right to me; I only saw their Mania match, and it was spectacularly stupid. That's the kind of thing I feel should be winning this.

AND IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE Jinder was just such a Perfect Storm of bullshit. He injures Finn, which gets Vince's attention, and he notices Jinder's been mainlining Bane Venom. Vince decides that he can make a renewed push into the Indian market off of Jinder's zit-covered back. So Hurricane Jinder blows into town on SDL, and brings back two of the worst guys from the CWC and the Godforsaken PUNJABI PRISON with him. He finishes off the Orton-derailing that WM started, and then proceeds to demolish what aura Shinsuke has left (after both Cena AND Orton put Nakamura over) with some of the most mind-meltingly terrible and needlessly offensive promos ever; His "interfering goons" gimmick somehow DOESN'T lead to a cage match at Hell in a Cell... He seems more concerned with defending himself from Nobodies on the Internet who have reason to suspect his physique may not be natural than getting better in the ring; so much so that Brock and Heyman REFUSE to work with him, and Heyman flat out buries him on the mic. By the time AJ finally goads Jinder into trying out some new moves, it's already too late and the damage is done. On top of that, the very tour that Jinder was being put over for in the first place, gets reduced down to a single show, and one where Papa H hammers the nail in his coffin to boot. 6 Months of this, and for what?

Business wise, Jinder takes it as it lead to some of the lowest attendance and ratings since Jibbles in 05

Jinder and Orton/Bray has started to separate themselves from Jason Jordan a little bit

I took a long break from watching WWE, and didn't resume watching it until after the connection between Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan had been established. That having been said, I have been enjoying Jason Jordan's work in the ring - he's probably my favorite of the new male wrestlers I've never seen before.
Anyone else notice that by having the name Jason Jordan, that wrestler is unofficially competing with Jeff Jarrett for the moniker 'Double J?' I couldn't see anything remotely wrong with Jason Jordan's in-ring work, so I joked that maybe people hate on him because they know he's not the real 'Double J.'
I voted for Jinder; I haven't been impressed with his performances. If WWE pushed him purely because he's Indian and they wanted to get more Indians watching WWE, the company could have at least gave him an interesting gimmick. Better yet, they could have got Sonjay Dutt (who IS a good in-ring performer) to come in and capture the attention of Indians.
Mocking Mickey James as 'old' sounds like the stupidest Gooker Nominee for 2017; it reminds me of WWE mocking Molly Holly for having a 'big ass.' (In both cases, the accusations were stupid, beyond the control of the women, and had been severely exaggerated.) The main reason why I didn't vote for this one is because I haven't seen it for myself.

Did Jinder hurt business? Sure but business seems to be getting slightly better ratings wise and most of those people he beat can and probably will bounce back.
Someone on the WWE committee pitched stock images being projected onto a ring. Someone pitched that to involve Randy Orton. Someone pitched that to involve Bray Wyatt. Someone pitched that to involve the WWE Championship. Someone pitched that to be at WRESTLEMANIA!
Could you see that happening for any other WWE title match? Hogan/Savage? Rock/Austin? Bryan/Batista/Orton? Reigns/Lesnar? No, and that makes it worse.
All of that stuff was approved. The people on top let THAT happen at your biggest show. How does that happen? You have the eyes of the world on you and you find that acceptable? The hell’s wrong with you?
And that’s ignoring the goddamn House of Horrors match which a) was more dull than bad (there wasn’t even an attempt to make it so bad it was good) and b) lead to plot holes the size of Manhattan.

Well, we were supposed to see pinup pictures of Liz on the big screens during Mania 8. I guess as Flairs celebration. So, partial credit.

I still have never seen this Alexa/Bayley 'This Is Your Life' segment. What was so bad about it?

I still have never seen this Alexa/Bayley 'This Is Your Life' segment. What was so bad about it? “Bayley was a nice girl but her biggest problem was that she used to watch Raw and Smackdown all the time! She was such a nerd!” Now imagine that line over and over and over again with bad acting and ending with Bayley getting beaten down anyway.

Yes, the plotholes of a woman, who is also a wrestler mind you, talking about how uncool watching wrestling was during a live broadcast of a wrestling show seemed to be lost on them there.
