She was such a nerd!” Now imagine that line over and over and over again with bad acting and ending with Bayley getting beaten down anyway. Yes, the plotholes of a woman, who is also a wrestler mind you, talking about how uncool watching wrestling was during a live broadcast of a wrestling show seemed to be lost on them there. Not just a wrestler. BUT THE WOMEN'S CHAMPION talking about how lame wrestling is. and so bad they immediately mocked it... and refused to even show any recap of it. |

I see that Jinder won but really his reign isn't really what I'd call Wrestlecrap. A guy getting a bad push isn't really Wrestlecrap. The Wyatt feuds this year is more prototypical Wrestlecrap but to me the winner here is the awful Borash/Mathews trash from TNA. That stuff was beyond awful on every level.

Even though it was a brief period, I'm surprised that Aron Rex's Liberace character didn't get nominated. Two things against it: It was so boring it's actually difficult to remember. And it's TNA so like 17 people in total watched it. |

Just taking Jinder's title run as a whole feels kind of flimsy, might've been better if an individual moment from his run was singled out for the award. |

Think it's been voting since he started making it a yearly thing, the biggest problem with letting RD do it is then we might just get something stupid like "literally Miz existing" whcih was on the list like 3 or 4 years ago. |

Honestly it feels like RD lost his smile back in 2008. And just keeps doing Wrestlecrap cause of the money. Kinda like the updated Death of WCW. Which to me felt like a total cash grab.Nothing of real importance was added to the updated version. And quite a few old errors were not corrected. |

I feel like I say this every year, but the spirit of the Gooker award was last a long time ago. I dislike Jinder (granted, not as much as some do), but him winning just screams of 'Waaah, I didn't like this!' rather than "Man, look at how silly THIS was"

I think they kinda screwed up by inducting House Of Horrors on its own pretty much as soon as it happened, and that took a lot of meat out of any possible Gooker win for the Wyatt/Orton feud as a whole. And Jordan as Angle's son probably lost a lot of steam as a potential winner by virtue of it actually starting to work out recently now that Jordan's actively being a heel about it.

Regarding the Borash/Josh Matthews feud, at least that led to some entertaining stuff with Joseph Park. The Jinder thing was a headache, but I can see someone like Vince not fully understanding the Indian market and going that route.
The Bayley/Bliss program was just baffling and infuriating.

I wish they split the award up into 2 separate awards: the Gooker an the Smarkies. The Gooker retains the original spirit of stupid crap on wrestling (House of Horrors and Mathews/Borash) an the Smarkies be someone we don't like did something (Jinder and Bliss/Bayley).
