Where did this question come from? Did I miss something? I love Mr. Burger! Please tell me I get to hang out with him again! I was looking at all the matches on the card and the graphics had all the CHIKARA lads on the left. Cheeseburger included. Only now do I see that is apparently a showcase match and he isn't technically repping CHIKARA vs Dick Justice. Shame, Cheeseburger fits the CHIKARA mold and I always wondered why he never got booked there. Oh I see what you’re saying now. Yeah. It’d be great to have Cheeseburger in CHIKARA! Although, Mr. Bryce would probably just have him face Volgar in his first match. You know, for kicks or whatever. #CawCaw

I mean under the CHIKARA Banner itself. I don't know why. You'd think he'd be a huge catch there. I don't know if it's conflicting booking schedules or what, he always felt like one of those outside talents that would fit in so easily there

Bobby Dempsey is a guy I think about a lot. If he'd been a more regular presence in Chikara, I think he could have been a big deal, instead of the comedy jobber role in ROH.

The entire first class of the ROH Dojo did better in Chikara than they ever did in ROH. The only one who did anything of note in ROH was Shane Hagadorn, and his accolades consisted of "winning the Top Prospect tournament" and "being Chris Hero's bag boy".

You guys mistaking people for other people need your ears checked. #CawCaw Next thing you know, people are gonna tell me that Barister RD Evans and Archibald Peck are the same guy, which is completely untrue. Evans is a successful wrestling lawyer, while Peck is a marching band leader......and dead......but maybe not dead, because he's stuck in the streams of time. Like Quantum Leap. Hmm. The first time he got backfisted, he got sent to 2015, where he saw the Chikara yearbook, and was then sent back to 2011, where he was then backfisted to 1885 in the middle of his tag match at Chikarasaurus Rex, became the Mysterious and Handsome Stranger, who would eventually be backfisted at the 2013 Tag World Grand Prix back to the end of the aforementioned tag match, being exiled from Chikara, wandering to Parts Unknown, and eventually meeting his untimely demise at the hands of Deucalion. We never saw Archie get backfisted back to 2011. That means the time loop isn't complete, and the Archie from Top Banana is the Archie that was sent to the future the first time. In fact, knowing his fate, Archie may have fled Chikara and any potential backfisting, perhaps taking up a new identity and getting a job as a producer at another wrestling company... (Side note: my brain no longer acknowledges "backfist" or any variation and permutation of that word as being real.)

The angle with Archie should have taken place during the main event of that show. I would have had him stumble out of the back holding his head during the Icarus/Kingston/Wicked triple threat, walk up to the merch table and start reading through it. Then he would have noticed Kingston in the ring, the man who in his mind just backfisted him. He would try to get revenge, run into the ring, get backfisted AGAIN. Bam, lights out, Archie gone from the ring, time loop closed. Archie's story finished. Especially since the man was seemingly set on retiring from active competition and had a sweet job lined up.
Now it's just something that will probably never get an explanation.

(Side note: my brain no longer acknowledges "backfist" or any variation and permutation of that word as being real.) *deep breath* Actually... March 2011: Archibald Peck makes his Chikara debut, loses to Eddie Kingston. He gets backfisted to the future... December 2015: ...where he gets the 2015 Chikara Yearbook from Mike Quackenbush. In it, he learns to challenge Colt Cabana in...(Also where the time loop was officially closed.) April 2011: ...and defeats him. He uses the yearbook to start a winning streak, but things start to go differently from the yearbook. Eventually, he changes his name to Mixed Martial Archie, and... June 2012: ...teams with Colt Cabana against Dasher Hatfield and Mr. Touchdown in a "Loser Leaves Chikara" match. During the match, he goes backstage, where he gets backfisted to the future again by Eddie Kingston to... 1885: ...where he takes the identity of "The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger". At some point, he insults Buford Tannen, where he backfisted (again) to... July 2012: ...as the Stranger. Here, he is eventually unmasked in December 2012, and is allowed to continue wrestling - since in his timeline, he has not yet lost the "Loser Leaves Chikara" match. He also changes his name back to Archibald Peck. Eventually... May 2013: ...he faces Eddie Kingston for the Grand Championship. During the match, a second Archie appears in the balcony. In the ring, he leaps forward, and is hit with a backfist to the future, which... June 2012: ...sends him back into his "Loser Leaves Chikara" match. He is pinned by Mr. Touchdown, and walks out of the ring dejected, and starts to walk all over the world. During this time, he appears or is referenced at Chikara events twice - once to see him being knocked into the future in May of 2013, and once at the temporary closing of Chikara. He eventually ends up in Parts Unknown. Then, 3.0 show up and ask him to help bring Chikara back, and... February 2014: ...he and 3.0 show up in a DeLorean to help the Chikara wrestlers defeat the Flood and bring back Chikara. He continues to wrestle for Chikara, forming a team with Ashley Remington, until... October 2014: ...in a brawl with the Flood, the leader, Deucalion, kills him with a chokebreaker.

nah I think canonically, Archie is still out there. The angle was: Grabs Yearbook from Quack, starts to read it, looks very pleased, gets to the part where he is murder, is a horrified, and then runs away. We never see him Backfisted by Kingston, or anyone else for that matter. As far as we are aware, he's lingering out there, possibly doing a podcast about basketball or something.

Yeah, it was never explained how Archie got back to March 2011. The blog states that he just woke up there after visiting 2015. If it's been established that he needs a Backfist to leave whatever time he's currently in then you have to assume there has to be one to send him back to the original timeline. You can't just assume he got there without anything to propel him there.
Archie never mentioned anything about finding out about his own mortality in the original blog. He stated that he was supposed to win the YLC but that didn't happen, meaning the timeline had been altered somehow. It could easily be argued that the timeline was further altered, possibly by whatever he and 3.0 did to help Chikara beat the Flood at NPWD to get us where we are today. If Archie doesn't go back to March 2011 then it causes a huge paradox.
Archie wandered the Earth before winding up in parts unknown. Wandering Archie HAD to be the Archie in the balcony. Why did he go there? Did he do this to insure a paradox wouldn't happen? Did he do this before or after he reached parts unknown?
There's also still the interesting bit of why the Swamp Monster was in the balcony during the match and what he has to do with any of it.

Except it's been specifically mentioned Archie was sent to that time the second Archie popped up in the balcony to tie up why a second Archie was there. I doubt CHIKARA would hand the fans that explanation but then go "But actually there was a third Archie there!" at this point.
Similarly, it was very clear that Top Banana was meant to be a reference to the beginning of the story. We know Archie went back to 2011 because Archie in 2011 told us. We know he didn't stay because he said so, he didn't say he stayed into 2016, 2017, 2018, and so on. Given what the man behind the character was up to at that point and what he's up to now, you can't really see this appearance as much more than a reference, a wink and a nod to long term fans and in a way wrapping up Archie's story.
Now I fully admit if the man behind the character loses his current job? Sure, those theories you guys are throwing around could become a reality. Or a million other ones to explain his return if he came back to CHIKARA. But as it stands now Archie's time loops are closed and he's dead.
