If you think TNA is going to hold onto him for a year on the shelf, you're crazy. Good thing Sonjay's good with his money.

If you think TNA is going to hold onto him for a year on the shelf, you're crazy. Good thing Sonjay's good with his money. Didn't he also have some backstage role, like one of the creative team or agent or something? Not that it means they can't still potentially drop him, but I guess he doesn't need to be able to wrestle to necessarily perform either of those tasks if that's he's got.

He works creative as well Yes, he can still do that while injured but Impact works in weird ways like how Abyss still wrestles despite having the excuse of the Joseph Park character and being involved with creative

Get off the gas and see if WWE wants you. If they can make Eric Young work...

Poor Dutt. Not only is the dude out for like a year of work, but nothing he's done in his career has ever been more notable than being the guy Kevin Nash joked was on the juice.

One of the unsung heroes of the x division. It's sad that his friends went to have bigger success and he was left behind.

I look forward to a much larger Sonjay Dutt being hyped up with training videos closer to his return. The pop he'll receive should be epic too!
In all seriousness, I wish this great talent a speedy recovery. He will have a spot in the impact zone awaiting him for sure.

And TNA immediately fires him due to his inability to work in front of 100 confused people.
He's above TNA.

Yeah, I had forgotten he was on the creative team as well. My apologies. I'm kinda glad that means he can stay on there, but the point still remains. If he didn't have that, he'd probably be whisked out the door ASAP.

I hope he recovers but yeah fat chance that TNA will still be around by the time he is healthy enough to wrestle.
