Would he have tried to bury Austin & Rock too at the height of their popularity with how much backstage power he would have had at the time?

In 97/98, she was 21/22...so it's possible it had happened. That's frightening to be honest. I think of all the people, The Rock would have been detracted the most in lieu of an early Haitch (bigger) push.

He had power with his Kliq buddy, so it would be more along the lines of 1996 WWF until the PG era began.

The story is HHH and HBK wanted to sabotage Rock making him drop to IC belt to Bret. Which would sabotage both Rock, losing a title and Bret, demoting him to a mid card title. And Chyna would never have emerged.

What if two people married each other out of love, and not as some ridiculous scheme to inherit a company 30 years later maybe? What if hhh was put,in his positions, because, not, only, was he a great worker, over with crowds, a legendary name, but also someone who was never going to disappear?

He’s only considered a legend due to the way he was booked but not because of his actual talent. He was always good, but never great. When I think of legendary the first guys I think of are Hogan, Austin, Rock, HBK, Bret, Flair, etc.

Trips would have gotten pissed with HBK's command of DX, turned on him and then beat him for the title at WM while Austin would be f***ing around facing someone else.

Id put Jericho at number 3 behind Austin and HBK. You didn't even mention him. And thats just my opinion.

Rock didn’t need him, he was already a huge draw in 1999 before they had their long feud in 2000. They feuded in 1998, but Rock just had natural charisma that the fans loved. Bret is the one that elevated Austin. And yes, Jericho is another one I’d add to that list easily. Also Foley & Angle.

Hhh was a perma main eventer cause his prime wasn't cut short by leaving.
