Weird fun fact, The Last Three Years... yes these have officially been done for three years now, god help me, every first RAW has had under a 5, and two have oddly enough been 4.9's... so every new year has been started with low expectations.

That was a whole lot of "meh" for me. The in-ring stuff was good but it all reminded of how important alignments, or at least the ability to connect to the crowd, are to the product. I honestly question putting the Club up against the Buckler + Jordan tonight when Miz + Miztourage would have made more sense storywise and when WWE can't afford to give Finn a full-blown heel turn. As it stands, I didn't feel connected to any of the action. That lack of connection is going to kill ratings, I think. And if I see one. more. recap of the announcement for the women's Rumble match I'm going to send a tersely-worded letter to USA Network and to Raw's sponsors announcing a boycott of their products and/or services.
