Tweeners at worst - "angels with dirty faces" faces at the moment.
Jason's booking is confusing me at the moment. I know they were likely aiming for Jordan to pull a heel turn, but also that Ambrose's injury may have put the kibosh on that plan, at least for now. It's easier now for The Revival to gain a foothold in the tag scene with Gallows and Anderson now, conceivably, on the face side of the ledger.
Finn, in my view, has to remain a face (which means most likely they'll turn him heel and corrupt the wish for him to regain the Universal title.) There are very few, if any, pure-ish babyfaces left on Raw and he may be the last that fans embrace so fervently, especially kids and women. If that were to change, that's a lot of merch money that WWE'd be leaving on the table. Besides, we've come to know so much about him away from the ring that heeldom would also mean a huge change in how he travels, interacts with fans, conducts his social media, etc. And since he's been a huge selling point for WWE as a corporate citizen, a full-blown heel turn could conceivably cut into the appeal of the brand as a whole.

Could Roman Reigns demolishing Jason Jordan finally help gets the fans behind Reigns? Considering the crowd were chanting you both suck when they were in the ring on Monday I doubt it. |

Tweeners at the moment Gave out to the dorkish Jason Jordan (who commentary painted as "slightly heelish") while showing respect to Roman and Seth yeah this is what I was going to say. they only took shots at the guy the roman and to a lesser degree seth were getting fed up with themselves, and Jordan's on THEIR side. plus Jordan was the only one who actually made a move to attack, even when all six were in the ring. if not for the miz clearly being first up for the IC title it'd be a nice change of pace for club vs seth and Jordan for the tag belts and roman/finn can have their tiebreaker match for the IC belt. |
