Sometimes guys are just better off at being in tag team, and they end up being in multiple ones in their career, but who has been in the most amount of successful ones? Off the top of my head first comes Billy Gunn:
In the popular New Generation team The Smoking Gunns One of the greatest tag teams of all time The New Age Outlaws In the very memorable Billy & Chuck.
Non-WWE you could say James Storm with America's Most Wanted and Beer Money.
Any others?

Cesaro initially got over in The Real American, got over again with Tyson Kidd and won the title before that was cut tragically short, went on to win three titles with Sheamus, and if Sheamus is retiring due to injury I fully expect him to find some fourth wandering soul to pull into another startlingly enjoyable team.

Cody? Won the belts with Hardcore Holly, Ted Jr, Drew McIntyre and Goldust, and had a memorable team with Damien Sandow that really should have won the belts.
I've thought for a while that a good gimmick for a midcarder would be 'The Perfect Partner', that they're this absolute premiere tag team wrestler who wins the tag titles with a huge range of people, and then offers their services to anybody going with the idea being "if you team with me you're guaranteed a title". It would give a guy something to do, keep him credible in a unique way, and also give the opportunity to elevate him if you had a main eventer take his offer but either act like they're the focus of the team, or the tag specialist gets jealous.

Mick Foley as a person rather than any of his particular gimmicks?
Only man to hold WCW, ECW and WWF tag gold in their home companies. Might have got some in Japan with Tracy Smothers too. And in WWF alone held them with Funk, Rock, Austin off the top of my head.

If you want to count his Indy days, he had two successful tag team with Chris Hero/Kassius Ohno and Ares. With Ohno back in WWE, we could see them teaming again.

And, on the indies, The Kings of Wrestling won tag titles in ROH, CHIKARA, and CZW. Before that, he and Arik Cannon won the Tag World Gran Prix. And even before THAT, he was in Swiss Money Holding with Ares and won titles around Europe.

The Top guys on the current roster are Kane, Kofi, Cesaro, and oddly R-truth for number of successful teams I believe.
Edit: Also Big Show.

Edge is up there - Christian obviously, Orton, Jericho, Hogan, Benoit, and Mysterio. Yeah he's won it with 6 different people which seems to be the most. People will never mention him as the best wrestler ever but kayfabingly speaking he has to be one of the greats when you include the fact he's also won EVERY title possible.
