Some mostly-eventful appearances questions:
1. Vince McMahon first debuted on his father's show All-Star Wrestling in 1969 as the in-ring announcer. I'm assuming footage was lost long ago, but is there any record of what occurred on that first show with him, or even a more precise date it happened? I'm also assuming all other footage of Vince from this stage is also lost to time.
2. In 1971, he became the play-by-play commentator, replacing Ray Morgan. Again, with assumption actual footage is lost, anyone have a more precise date of his first episode in this role, or what happened on the card?
3. Vince bought the promotion from his father in 1982 - Similarly, does anyone know what episode to be shot was the first after the buyout? Assuming chances of this ep being available is much more likely.
4. Vince wanted to be a wrestler when first breaking in, but supposedly was told by his father that the promoters shouldn't be part of the show and needed to stay separate. How was "Sr." able to say that with a straight face while Gagne, Graham, Fritz, the Funks, Hart and Sheik were around?

You may have just hit on the exact reason Vince was able to be the last man standing.

How was "Sr." able to say that with a straight face while Gagne, Graham, Fritz, the Funks, Hart and Sheik were around? Because I'd gather Vince Sr. was 100% serious about it. He most likely saw it as a rabbit hole you couldn't escape from once you fell down it, so he sidestepped it and told his son to sidestep it too. It took Vince Jr. nearly 15 years after his dad was gone to truly violate that rule, but by that point the territorial world of American wrestling was dead and old rules didn't necessarily apply anymore.
