If he is able/wanting to speak truthfully then this should be really eye-opening to a lot of people.

He doesn't seem like the type. Regardless of how much fans might want to see him take a giant shit all over them.

Didn't he retire years ago or something? What was he actually doing for years when CFO$ were making all the music?

I'm about halfway through the podcast right now and it has been a clunky mess so far. Sean Mooney has asked him about at least 3 songs that Jim didn't write (Real American, Big Bossman, and HBK). Jim seems almost nervous speaking.
One take away, I'm convinced Jim Johnston just always carries a guitar with him in case he feels the need to start playing "Put a little ass on it"

I just hit the 1:18min mark and he mentions that "With My Baby Tonight" was a song he wrote for his wife and played at a couple of local shows while trying to fight his stage fright. I had no idea he had it.

I don't think Corbin's new song fits him but it's also not a 20 second loop repeated over and over and called a "song" ala the CFOSpecial.

Yeah, Ass Man is a very strange exception. They either thought Mr. Ass was going to be a huge deal, or just really wanted to go all out on the concept.

They either thought Mr. Ass was going to be a huge deal, or just really wanted to go all out on the concept. When the CDs started becoming big sellers they seemingly started putting more focus into making themes more like full songs again, ala The Wrestling Album and Piledriver. Really the only difference between Jim and CFO$ is when Jim wrote a theme and added lyrics he'd write two or three verses, while CFO$ just write one verse and repeat after the chorus.
