Well, goodbye to a guy who was completely pointless during his run.

I always liked his 2010/2011 Superstars matches.
Kinda feel bad that the best thing he's got since is TNA.

No worries they have aries back who will be around for 3 weeks before leaving and returning several more times.

WWE posted his debut video on their twitter and facebook the other day. Wonder if he's a Rumble surprise.

I’d love to see him get a legit mid-card push in the wwe or even a nice NXT push. Dude has always gootten a raw deal from the WWE and he’s improved a ton over the years.
i guess that Eli Drake isn’t long for the impact zone either.

I kind of liked him with Eli Drake
Wouldn't mind seeing these two in NXT as team but yeah he should go back to WWE as Chris Masters, I feel he can be a good midcard hand or even help the people in NXT

Has he always used his WWE name for his Twitter account?

I would 100 percent be down for him in WWE again, either with a legit push or as a Hercules Hernandez-style "JTTS with some credibility". People would pop big for the Masterlock, especially when he'd ragdoll guys.

Talk about a dude that got punished for giving a f*** and getting better at his craft. I've always been bitter that he didn't do more in WWE.

I'm really surprised Chris Masters never made a go of ROH, I think he could have fit in there, even today he would. He got released from WWE in 2011, I thought he had built up enough cred by the time that he was released that he could have built a good reputation off of that. Feels like his time in the indies has been so long yet so much more quiet than I'd have expected it to be.

Completely pointless run in TNA. I guess he had nowhere else to go. I’m guessing he’s going back to the indies for a while. I doubt WWE would take him back at this point.

I liked him as Eli Drake’s muscle, but they really should have found more to do with him. I can’t believe neither WWE or TNA can get it right with this guy.

With the limited amount of talent in TNA, you would think they'd use a guy with his talent and name as a stand alone act. If you want Drake to have some backup, use a manager or a lesser known lackey ala Spud with EC3.

Most pointless cameo ever.
The guy had the body to become a huge wwe superstar and he debuted on tv at just 20 years old, unfortunately the steroids made barely movable.

Yeah, I find the useless stuff hyperbolic because they had something with him but never followed through with it or did much with it besides get beaten up a lot.

There's no guy in wrestling I want to see have all the success in the world more than Chris Masters.

Not surprised by anything except how long it took. He was wanting out after the first show he was on.
