Japanese cultural difference, both from the perspective of an entertainer who largely creates content aimed at children not supposed to let their relationship info be public, as well as intimate endeavor supposed to be largely private. Additionally, translation is an issue as well where something like this comes off as more of an apology when taken directly word-for-word across languages than it actually is. |

She did voice Haruna Takaoka (The show's female protag) in Tiger Mask W I'm guessing that's how they met due to the series having a full NJPW license, probably during a show or a press conference. And if they ever give the series another season I wonder if they'll make this into a story line? ...why is she apologizing to her fans about it?
