I hope this would make for a fun thread.
As we may know, Triple H is known for having a massive ego and Daniel Bryan, arguably, doesn't have much of an ego in the world of wrestling.
What if they traded egos, let's say magically in 1994(Bryan would be 13 then lol)
How would their careers have gone at that point?
Honestly I still see Trips as WWE champ though be spending some time in TNA. He's good, but not really a long lasting main eventer.
I can see Daniel Bryan literally be the next Shawn Michaels. He'll have his own kliq and fans will have a polarizing stance in him. He's good but an asshole type of opinion on him.
What do you all think?

H becomes greatest IC Champ of all time. HOF for being a mid-carder.
D Bry immediately downsizes the arenas to bingo halls and enforces the rule that everyone's rental car must be either a hybrid or electric car.

I think Daniel Bryan has an ego, which isn't a bad thing. He certainly has no problem speaking his mind. What he doesn't seem to have, at least in regard to wrestling, are insecurities about his wrestling image. I don't if you can say the same thing about Triple H.

"I tell you what pal, this Hunter Hearst Helmsley doesn't seem like he wants it. I don't care how many DX shirts we are selling. We're going to kick him out of the group and put Marc Mero with Shawn Michaels. He's a star! Have Hunter drop a match to Chainz too. He needs a win."

I think they are equally insecure (possibly egotistical) but in different ways. Hunter wants to be seen as the man so badly it's hurt how he's perceived to the point people disparage his obvious abilities.
Bryan wants to be the best wrestler and to wrestle regardless of consequence or logic with his life now. It's manifested differently but that takes a huge ego and a large amount of insecurity.
Circumstances in their lives and careers as well as their personalities mean this comes over very differently. Bryan I'd more likeable to most and I can understand that even if I don't agree but I don't think they're that dissimilar.
Hunter wants his spot, Bryan wants to wrestle and roughshod the consequences.

One of the more telling parts of Bryan's book was how indifferent he was to his win/loss record. During his two spells of jobbing (nxt and post MITB win) which this fine parish was aghast at he was only concerned with getting enough time to show his skills to the audience believing that would get him over and the result was irrelevant. Such a contrast to HHH/Hogan/Nash et al where the result means everything.
History proved Bryan right and then some. Although he did benefit from good timing, that he was a breath of fresh air in a dull main event scene. Losing the big ones repeatedly has soured the fans on Ziggler and meant Cersaro has never been able to build singles momentum maybe because there's more fresh talent fighting for the top spots these days.

I can see Triple H in a role of Dolph Ziggler but less whining. EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. I come into this ring and play the game harder than ANYONE.

HHH, now theres a guy who couldve been a great champion, at a time when we really needed someone fresh. Too bad he lost every single big match to a slowed-down roided-up Shawn Michaels during his Reign of Terror.

HHH with D-Bry's ego wouldn't have lasted a year in the WWF.
D-Bry with HHH's ego would literally just be HBK part 2.
