The dual nameplate one is nice.

I always thought they were trying to make them look bronze, like a 3rd place olympic finishers bronze medal. Unfortunately the color of the metal never looked quite right and did come off looking like copper on TV.

I actually like the brown strap prototype, never seen that image before. It works really well with the copper. Easily the best version of that particular design.
So, of course they refused it and made it worse.

That looks a lot better with the archaic brown leather. Not sure if that really fits the lineage of the title, but it definitely looks better than the black. I think the current red/silver and blue/silver was the right way to go with the brand split, however.

The copper and brown with the dual plates looks pretty nice, actually. Gives it a warmer glow. Of course WWE hated it, it doesn't look like an overly gaudy prop. That's why I don't like the men's and women's tittles. They look like the back pockets of jeans d bag wore back in 08.

I liked them well enough, though I've never got what the Spartan helmets had to do with tag teams, exactly.

Count me in as another one of the ones who prefers the brown strap, name plate belts to what they ended up using.

Yep, they look so much better with the dual name plates on. Not big on the brown leather though.

I actually really like the dual tag plate idea, but I guess they figured it didn't make sense to have the other guy's name on the belt of the guy wearing it, like it's redundant, and probably an unnecessary cost. WWE logic at it's best.

This got nothing to do with the belts but it made me think of it. I'll never understand why they got rid of the World Tag Team Championship lineage that went back to 1971 in favor of the one where the first holder will always be Chris Benoit.

the biggest problem with the belts in my opinion was they looked really terrible under the arena lighting it lost almost all of the extra details on it.
the dual name plates are pretty awesome though.

Seriously, look at the names who held those Belts: LoD, Blackjacks, The Bulldogs, Hart Foundation, Hardyz, Dudleyz, E&C, Arn & Tully, Wild Samoans & The Steiner Brothers.
