This is just overindulgent. Makes a cool segment somehow seem even more fake.

I love how there was a camera on the truck itself for no f***ing reason.

The constant motion of the camera is honestly one of the primary reasons I don't watch WWE as much as I used to. It's so bad that it's borderline disorienting. They need to not shoot it like an action movie and shoot it like a sport. That's kinda the point of wrestling: it's a real life action movie. They don't need the camera work to enhance it. It's impressive enough on its own.

If they just had the shot from behind that would have looked great. The camera cuts turn it shit. Can't Dunn just go away.

You can briefly see the cord they used to pull it, in the shot from the back tires.

Hated the entire thing from when they sent him to the truck onwards because they set in motion he is destroying everything and everyone but knowing he clearly cannot destroy anything in the truck lets just send him in there anyways to throw some papers around.
And the cuts on the truck WWE you're not an action movie stop it.

Yep; it works in Lucha Underground, which goes whole-hog in terms of being highly produced and telenovela-esque and has a consistent style, but a company like WWE making a transition to something like that is jarring and likely has the effect of taking a lot of people out of the moment. Consistency in presentation is incredibly important.

Jericho said it best on his last podcast with Omega. In NJPW the camera works towards you, in WWE the performer has to work towards the camera. WWE needs to work the camera to the wrestler. These camera cuts and shakes and zoom in and out are ridiculous.

It would’ve been funnier if he just kidnapped the whole production crew....

Yes, they just need to use that notion as a fundamental when filming wrestling. WWE has top notch camera crew and equipment they just don't have the brain for it at the moment.

I refuse to believe all the people in that 12 million dollar truck (or anyone behind the scenes. Vince. Whoever.) can watch things like that and think it looks good.

Dunn must have watched Taken 3 (15 camera cuts in 6 seconds!)

It looks like shit. Been happening more frequently over the past month. My guess is that someone told Vince quick cuts would make things more exciting, like a movie!
