As I mentioned in the last thread, I've been following Rowe's career for a decade now. Quick story:

On the last show of 2007, Sandman became the champ of the local Pittsburgh indie. This drove up attendance, as every lapsed ECW fan in the tri-state area came out to see/drink with him. They also had a nasty habit of shitting on anyone who wasn't connected to ECW. (These dumbasses booed an in his prime Larry Sweeney out of the building.) By the time Ray Rowe came out, the Sandman crowd was drunk and extremely rowdy. Quite a feat, as the venue didn't serve alcohol. They called him every name under the sun, most of which can't be posted here. Then this happened:

1. He no-sold a chair shot to the lower back. "That's cool, I guess," I heard the person sitting behind me say.

2. He no-sold a chair shot to the upper back. "Shit!" the guy yelled. "How did he not move?"

3. He not only no-sold a chair shot to the top of his head - this is February 2008, remember - he didn't move a muscle. "f***! Dude! Who the hell is this guy?! This is unreal! Do you realize what Paul could have done with him? f***!"

Rowe did the impossible that night: He single handedly and permanently won over a crowd of belligerent ECW fans. They didn't heckle for the rest of the night.

That story is amazing and makes me so glad I made this post.

How is Rowe's documentary?

Also, as for your second point, "Perpetual Violence Wagon" does seem a smidge more marketable of a wrassler name than "Hanson." Maybe renaming Hanson as "Perpatual Violence Wagon" and together he and Rowe are War Machine would solve the issue.

Looking forward to seeing them debut, but they _are_ going to have to change the team name. Not sure WWE or the team would want to be associated in any way with what happened to Christy Mack.

Or, they could, for the sake of trolling the shit out of the former Jon Koppenhaver and perhaps providing emotional support for her, take her on as their manager. Not sure how much money she's making now or if she's even working at the moment; I honestly don't think she is working. It might help get her back to a healthy place emotionally, especially if she sees so many circling the wagons to protect her. But it would be entirely up to her.

So, barring that, do we have any ideas to feed WWE about a new team name?

You're right - certainly not in a PG-era WWE that wants to bring in families and women and doesn't want to court controversy in any way.

I'm not even sure they'd hire her if she wasn't a pornstar, facially she is pretty. But she is nothing like what they like. She has a mohawk and is covered in tattoos. Like arm sleeves etc.
