Not a bad looking card for 1988 WWF. Not great, but not bad. I'd be interested in seeing how Race and Warrior worked together. Race woulda sold like crazy for Warrior, but would certainly not have tolerated any of his crap, either. Duggan and Herc before both of them gave up. Jumping Bomb Angels. Bigelow/DiBiase sounds fun, but only 3 minutes? Meh. The Main looks great, though.

Sting defeated Chance McQuade via submission with the Scorpion Deathlock at 1:31; after the bout, Jim Ross conducted an in-ring interview with Sting in which Sting issued a challenge to NWA World Champion Ric Flair
Dick Murdoch (w/ Jim Cornette) pinned Bob Emory at 1:05 with the brainbuster; Murdoch used the Midnight Express theme song for his entrance; Cornette briefly joined the commentary team during the bout

I love how the results on this one go from simple "vs." line-up to super-thorough detail on time and finishes. Squash City, USA...nothing terribly exciting, though the Windham/Blanchard match was probably good. Max McGyver is an awesome jobber name. Want to note that their pairing here was before Hayes and Garvin officially revived the Freebirds team.

Not the best looking JCP card, but decent moments. The last three matches have potential, the others...not so much. Max McGyver again, though.

Warrior has often said in shoot interviews and sit-down interviews with WWE in 2013 that "old-timers" kept telling him to stop doing his entrance as it looked stupid and he'll never get over.

As he never mentioned names, I wonder if Harley Race was one of them?

When did Warrior start with the running? He was sprinting by WM 4 for sure. His early appearances where he just walks to the ring look bizarre, given what became the norm.

Jake the Snake vs Rick Rude sounds like the kind of match I would have paid to see (Maybe Windham and Tully too). Who was the babyface? Both of those guys are such natural heels

Jake was the face at this point, this was....I think very early in, or even before, the Roberts/Rude feud that ran thru most of 1988.
