God. Triple H & Stephanie the Ass Kicker authority figures are collectively my most hated thing in WWE.... Isn't that meant to be the point though? Heels aren't meant to be liked. Disliked in the sense that I'm very disinclined to watch as a result of their involvement. This idea that all heat is good heat needs to stop. Heat that makes people lose interest is not good heat. By contrast, best example I can give atm is Minoru Suzuki, or maybe even Shayna Baszler in NXT- I dislike them, but in a 'they're a hateable heel and I want them to lose' way. Not in a "get the f*** off the show" way. |
